I genuinely like the concept and the setting, and I appreciate the fact that the RTP used was edited to make it look more unique (something that I feel more devs should do, as vanilla unedited RTP tilesets tend to look bland). I'm also quite intrigued by the plot, that was a really nice cliffhanger!
I will say that this game felt kinda incomplete, I know its just a prologue but nowhere did it say that, the spaces also feel a little bit empty, especially inside the house. I did like the Gravity Falls inspo and the shadowy figure that appears in the game, I just wish there was more.
There was a lot of really smart design decisions chosen here! The moment where you go down the path and the creature is at the end was great. Felt very claustrophobic and worked well for me. The shadow maze was also cool and a good depiction of escaping a nightmare. Well done!
I like this game. It's short and sweet and gives JUST enough that I want to know what happens next. The sound was a little bit loud, but that actually adds to the discomfort I felt as a player. My only beef is that my favorite character likely bit the big one. :(
I enjoyed this one. I didn't realize the similarities between it and Gravity Falls until about halfway through. Not bad, but the ending was a bit abrupt, but it was interesting enough for me to be interested in how it turns out.
Hey, enjoyed this! Really appreciate all the work you've put in to the art and writing.
A shame we never got to see if Price and Sandra worked out haha
