Really solid entry, was fun to play. I see a lot of inspirations from games like kingdom, I like the simplicity of the gameplay, and would love to see this title fully developed.

Thank you very much for your feedback.

The art looks great, the only problem is that after i restarted it some bug made the background disappear and i think it also affected the villages and enemy settlements.

Developer

Thank you, we are aware of this problem and has already been resolved, an update will come later.

So solid! The pixel art was so solid!

A tad lost on the controls and how to play the game at first, but managed to get to the end in my third run (and died). Was this the ending that happens regardless? I see another person saying the same thing. I have absolutely no complaints for it as a jam entry, but it did bug out for me during my second run, giving me a partial black screen (I have screenshots, but can't seem to tag it here).
Definitely made me think of Kingdom series! I was wondering if the number of legionnaires per legion had any historical accuracy sneaked into them, or if it was all entirely randomly generated.

Thank you for the entry! Genuinely great job done!

(almost) Commercial quality entry. Was a bit lost the first time but pressed help the second time round and had a better idea what to do. Got all the way to Mediolanum and then got massacred by the defenders. I want to try again to see if I can arrive with a bigger army.

It would be nice to have more options in the battles. I like how the morale plays a big part but some tactical options would be great. Also some indication of how the random encounter is going to affect your greatness and other stats (before choosing) would be better. I got a nasty surprise when I recruited the bandits.

I'll definitely keep an eye on this to see if you develop it further.

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback, I am glad that you still managed to try the game. Pleasant comments motivate more and more to continue developing after the jam.

Game did not run for me from the itch.io Windows app. It launched but all I saw was a black screen.  I will try later from a direct download. (FYI I have come across other games in the Jam with the same issue).

Simply amazing! Parallex effect, Reflections, Great UI. From a technical perspective this was the best game so far! I played till Mediolanum but sadly couldn't take the fort. I also liked the choice system, graphics and sounds. Brilliant!

Developer

thank you very much for your feedback. we tried very hard to make the game better in every aspect.

Great work! I am amazed that you can produce this quality in a week. Once I polish up the gameplay, I think I can release it as a product. I found it a little frustrating that the combat was just watching each other’s numbers decrease little by little. Overall, a very good game.

Developer

Thank you. It so happened that we were able to devote more time to the game than expected.

Really wonderful visuals. I like the idea of the gameplay as well, but I couldn't figure out how to get provisions.  Very nice job.

Developer

Thanks for feedback. my omission, I didn't have time to make a competent tutorial. Food can be obtained by looting villages or simply restocking and leaving, as well as by clicking on barrels and carts while moving.

Amazing work! Got really far until my people left me :( Took me a little bit to figure out the controls, but I'd play it again. Keep it up!
