Your screenshot is intriguing. I can't tell what I'm looking at but as a fan of pixel art I'm immediately on board. It won't load for me though. Which browser does it work in?
Hello. I tried it on Chrome and it worked perfectly
I liked the parallax! I find it a shame that I couldn't actually attack Medusa as I couldn't close the distance. Couldn't make the boots work, and didn't see the point of the invisibility helmet. Please do enlighten me!
The controls were buggy, and the actions didn't always switch between sprites (still swiping my sword when I'm holding up the shield), and the game bugged out on me a few times. It crashed on me once.
The random generation for the platforms are interesting, but a little too random, I had them popping up several in completely unreachable places on the screen. The character design was a nice attempt, I think that the pixels could have been placed slightly better, but that's a minor nitpick for a game jam. It had a nice melody and it didn't feel too repetitive due to its simplicity.
I love the idea behind this! Thanks for making it!
It's a good challenge - just when you think you are doing well a low block appears when you are not ready. Nicely done.
It was difficult to play) good character animation and music. Simple yet addicting gameplay.
Thank You for Your feedback.
Fun little game. Might want to have some graphical indication that the invisibility hat is working. Also ran into some bugs with the shield disappearing.
Thanks for your feedback. You're right, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to fix those bugs.
