A simple look and is easy to play. I didn't like the inertia built into the movement but I guess it might make it too easy if it moved as expected.

The retro look is fun, but the controls are a bit too unforgiving for me to last at all. A much higher friction amount might help, I'm not sure. Still a cool take on the theme.
I did try running into the other vehicles to see if maybe the blocks would interlock, tetris like, giving you a larger more sluggish vehicle, maybe having lines disappear if they complete.

Nice idea to convert the BrickRacer to a "newer" generation! I was hoping to see a bit more innovation on the mechanics or the theme. Maybe a twist of some sort would help it to differentiate a bit? Not sure what it would be though :)
Few feedback ideas:
- It would be nice to see how the "road" moves. Now it's just "there", so maybe lanes or some visual cue would help player to get the feeling of forward movement.
- Controls. The car doesn't quite react to the inputs well. It takes a, if not significant, but too much time to make the direction to change. You could try more snappier controls so that the car would be easier to control. It could be possible just to increase the friction so that car on horizontal movement becomes to stop faster.
- Different enemy types(?)
- Pickups(?)
- Definitely more sounds and VFX.
Keep up the good work! This is a great start for a game!

Only make it to 130. Either lose control or too slow, so quite challenging for me. Nice game though.
