Remarkable: Charming and hilarious, especially when I try to take someone else's food.

Needs Improvement: Clicking on food to pickup feels finicky - I sometimes had to back away, and even then it wouldn't work It's inconsistent.

Successful: So many nice details, from the sound (ambient and sound effects) to the textures and lighting, to even the subtle "bopping/bobbing" animation of the food items.

I thought this project was really neat! While it may not have been extremely advanced mechanically, I think the intention was more to build an interesting environment, and it certainly succeeded in that regard. All of the objects in the restaurant are modeled and textured with great detail. Additionally, the ambient noise works really well for something like this. The only criticism I would give is that certain objects don't have proper collision, but otherwise it's a great project.

I think the sound design was the most remarkable part. The ambiance helps give a sense of place. I did have some problems with the UI being cut off and I had to look at the code to figure out I can eat things with the k button. I think it works to invoke a feeling of being in a cafeteria which is a small thing that I think we all appreciate much more now. I also like the two capsules drinking together, it gives just a little character to them.

This game is really cool! I really like the atmosphere that you built for this game, it almost makes me wish I could experience it again. The sound effects for eating and for drinking are rather immersive, and the fact that other people react when you take their belongings is really funny. Each item having its own value in terms of calories is really cool too, on top of the fact that the total values are color coordinated. I think adding some windows and players that move around would increase the amount of immersion this game presents. I really like the location and the food/drinks that were included in this game, and personally I like how quickly the player moves but it might be a little strange if someone were to moving that fast in the real world. All in all think is a really unique concept and it was a lot of fun to see what you were able to do with it!

Hey Matt, your game has a lot of charm to it. The concept of your game is very simple and enjoyable at the same time. The sound effects really sealed the deal and added to the overall experience. I agree with Jack that is was really funny hearing the people get mad at you for eating their food. The most remarkable thing about your game is that each food is assigned its own caloric value. It's also really cool that the color of the calorie counter changes as you continue eating. When its in the red I know I'm eating way too much food. The biggest critique for me would be to add some more aesthetic to the restaurant. Maybe a few employees and some windows to expand the world and make you feel like the play space is bigger than it really is. Overall it was a fun experience and it really shows how much you have learned since the beginning of the semester. Happy holidays!

This game was so much fun. it really felt like a complete work. The animations on the food and how they pulsate looks super cool.  I would love to learn how to do that. I also love how people yell at you if you steal their food. Very funny.
