Description
I like to write in my notation software before moving to my DAW. I decided to write for Flute, Alto Flute, Bass Flute, Violin, Viola, and Contrabass. After writing the music, I moved the MIDI files into Pro Tools. I didn't do much to the tracks at this point, but I did add reverb and add some panning. Looking at the painting made me feel calm, so I wanted to make sure my music portrayed that mood as well.

I think you really nailed some of the sense of heart in the painting as well. You're definitely doing good at speaking the musical language.
My constructive feedback has mostly to do with the mixing of the midi notes - they are fairly harsh, and this style definitely calls for more dynamics. Of course, this is difficult and time consuming with midi software, so I can appreciate the limitation.

Very “classical”, but that’s exactly where its beauty lies: the atmosphere is delightfully melancholic and introspective, but still reflects the majesty of the scenario in the painting. Great composition skills!
