Description
For this jam, I started learning how to use Construct 3. I made a simple clone of an asteroids game and composed 3 retro-future synth tracks for the soundtrack. The tracks are hosted on the SoundCloud link and please check out the game to hear them in context. Thanks for checking it out and thanks to Kale Overlord again for the fun jam!!

Solid work overall.

I think the retrofuturism you hit on pretty well here. The tracks are chill, they absolutely work.

All right, well pretty simple feedback : First two tracks, sounds nice but it feels too much the same for the entirety of the song, need some mix up or something to get me hook. The sprawl is the best in terms of composition out of the tree you have actually something going on for me.  But even though it sounds like the whole track is on the RC-20, I think the bass and drums could get more precense in the mix it would create a super sick atmosphere imo.

This might seem a bit brutal but don't be too offended by it its still a nice album :)

Final Solitaire - this track is so cool.  Great choice of sounds, melodies and textures.  Mix wise, it's got a lot of low-end and the "snap" on every other 4th beat is too loud for my ears.

Micron by Micron - the super reverb snare/clap that occurs every few bars is delicious.  Reminds me of vaporwave.

The Sprawl - speaking of vaporwave/synthwave.  These synths are so retro and full.  Amazing!!  The melody is surprising and hits unexpected notes.  Nice.

The mix in these tracks isn't very bright, but I can't help think that was an intentional choice that helps create a nostalgic and spacey atmosphere.

I think you totally nailed the retro-future synth vibe you were going for! Super great work overall! :)

It's futuristic time!

Final Solitaire - There is some feeling of being placed inside a spaceship and everything around me is burning a bit (and the steam is burning my hand. OUCH). Sounds atmospheric! But I think the main melody could be a bit louder.....

Micron By Micron - COSMOS. GROOVY COSMOS. AAAAH

The Sprawl - Cyberpunk + sad and positive synth vocals... love it!

Overall feeling - I first sat in a spaceship, then I was thrown out of the ship :_

Your post makes me want to play again Emperor: Battle for Dune (or just watch some futuristic movie) :>

Awesome job! ^_^
