Your face is paler than snow. The light at the end of the tunnel is fading. There's nothing behind you. There are sharp spears at your sides.
...
It doesn't matter how you died. You're already dead.
...
The last thing you can do is try to recreate your favorite tunes in your head.
...
Yes, they've blended into a shapeless set of noises, but maybe you can savor the last few seconds before you go deaf forever.

First of all, is there a plot? An underlying plot? This set of music is not tied to any game idea, but I tried to give it a “game” sound.
Secondly: this is the most experimental release I've ever done. It's New Year's Eve (and in my country it's one of the most important holidays of the year). What can you expect? Well...
First of all - I used piano in every track (I usually use it very rarely)...
Then - I used a lot of synthesizers. A lot. A lot of synthesizers. Mostly free ones (And FLEX. I love FLEX).
The main unusual thing for me was Time signature. I decided not to use the standard 4/4 (With the exception of the third track). And I also tried to give each track a “broken” sound. (Except for the second one: in that one I “borrowed” a feature of jazz hats. Heh). This is felt most strongly, I think, on Metal Half.
Watch out! A lot of psychedelia!
In short - don't expect a single mood. Here the mood changes a lot during the track! (Except for the fourth one).
What was my goal for the project in the end? Well... I just wanted to make a set of a few diverse songs, using my favorite “broken” sound.
What did I want to do? I wanted to do something crazy in a short time. And I did something crazy in a short time.

If anyone is interested, here are the Time signatures I used in these tracks:
Intro to Form - 3/4
AFR Form - 12/8
Formed Glass - 4/4
Metal Half - 6/4

Another interesting fact: Virtually ALL tracks were made ~36 hours before the deadline. From scratch to final result

Have fun!

Alllllllll right. Lets start with the classic obvious. Its very loud XD. Tone it down a bit.
First track : I can sense that with good musical theory I think you could do something nice knowing what works well in a melodic context and now it just seems like you tried a bunch of melodic patterns that does not work with whats happening. The low guitar on the left ear is a bit too much, add something similar on right ear at some point to help us a little bit. But nice texture build up.
AFR Form : Good kick in the mix again same issue with the melodic aspect of the track.
Formed glass : I like the rythmic pattern, well actually most of your rythmic feel on your tracks are pretty well done.
Metal Half : the coolest track so far cool arrangement, this is a proof that you can make something without real melodic or big harmonic direction, only textures keep it simple.
I still think you can probably create something cool with the basic texture play you have if you get on into some real harmonic and melodic structures.
Might seem a brutal comment but since its unranked I went all in to give my opinion, so don't be offended it seems alot but its a nice album overall.
Really liked the first track, very haunting atmosphere and yet it has a solid groove. AFR Form and Metal Half makes me imagine going inside a haunted robot factory!
Well, i guess you achieved your goal of doing something crazy in a short time haha! Great work!
When compared to your last Impressions submission, I hear you experimenting more with sound design and rhythm. I dig this direction. Your composition style has this sort of "stream of consciousness" feel. It sounds like rhythm and texture are forming the songs more than functional chord progressions, a compositional style that I really like. "Intro to the Form" is probably my favorite for the industrial sounds and that gritty low end doom/sludge distorted bass sample - so tasty!!! Some instruments still sound a little loud in the mix, like the synth at 1:10 in "Formed Glass".
I really liked Formed Glass, the percussion in that is just really interesting and I could totally see a game in some kind of industrial, mechanical, or robotic setting that would love this kind of sound. Super cool and creative submission!
