I absolutely loved this idea! The graphics were charming, the music was perfect, and it was a fun little murder mystery. Granted I could not solve it even after finding the letter for the wife, but I still enjoyed it. I know the controls have been mentioned before, so I won't bring it up again, but there was quite a few crashes for me even outside of the known bug. Overall though, great game! I love the take on the theme super creative!

Thank you for the feedback !

I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the music! I could not solve the mystery, but the setting looks really unique and creative!

Developer

Thx !

There's some clues on the game's page on how to get the true ending, if you want.

This feels like a real game! The art style is great and the music wonderful. Love the concept too, fits the theme perfectly and creatively! My only complaint is that the control scheme of arrows, click and spacebar is a little awkward. I would have used WASD for movement and probably ditch the spacebar entirely, overloading the mouse click with both interaction and dialogue advancement. This game really stands out in the jam, congratulations for the great job!

Developer

Thanks !

Yes you're not the first to tell me about the contrôls. I'll change it for the post-jam version.

Really interesting. I guess I’ll replay it several times to see different endings

I really enjoyed the pixel art and the murder in the train theme! It crashed after returning back to check doctors bag so I did not manage to finish it. I recommend for game jam to make it a bit shorter but I understand that you wanted to tell a story. Great job :)

Developer

Ok thx I was not aware of that bug, you're the first one to find it.

I had so much fun I loved every second of this game. The art is perfect the sound is perfect the story is perfect. The theme is used in such a creative way. I dont care about the bug i ran into where the game crashes because i can see why there was no more time left to fix it. In my opinion this is one of the games that would deserve winning this contest.

Developer

Thank you so much !

This is a great story, got me hooked, the art, animation looks awesome and everything else is very well done. One note tho, you should use AD to move instead of the arrow keys cuz i have to awkwardly place my fingers onto the arrow and the space key cuz my right hand was on the mouse, so if you use the AD keys that should be fixed. Overall awesome submission!

An excellent take for a narrative murder mystery. The music and art aesthetic topped it off for a great murder mystery story experience!

Game crashed first time I played by walking to the right cabin, then immediately left, then right again and talking to the people from left to right. It crashed on the lady. ><

Game crashed a second time when I reached the 2nd cabin with the man holding a gun on the right. :(

Looks like it's an interesting game but I'm sad it keeps crashing.

Developer

Yeah I'm aware of the first one (which is why there's written "read game's page", you can see how to avoid it). The second seem strange, I don't see where it is and nobody reported anything like that 🤔

Okay that was cool, but unless someone else was meant to die then I think I didn't get the final ending and that frustrated me :P

Developer

There is no way to avoid a death, someone will die. I think you got the true ending
