Absolutely loved how things kept escalating. That, and the color changed to represent different settings. I'm actually finding words to describe just how good this one was, so great job!
Excellent sense of made up agency in the choices even when the story is actually mostly linear. I liked that you sum up the action I did/didnt chose at the end : Made me play it twice (first got ending A and then B)
Really liked the moment of realisation on second play through with a different path as to how things are interconnected.
I have never hated a person as much as I hated that doctor! Poor Angela :c I am sad this ended up this way but, hey, at least the creature did their best to help.
This was great, the idea was interesting, the execution too!! Honestly I just wish people could get along but... sometimes I guess one lets the stress get the best out of us.
I felt chills down my spine! This game does so many things well, and every choice seems meaningful and thought-out. The background color changes were a really subtle yet clever addition, they add so much more atmosphere to an already great game. I got ending A but I'll have to replay because I can tell there's a lot more to this game in store.
Thanks! I'm happy you enjoyed it. I'm sorry to say that the story isn't *that* interactive mostly just due to not having time to write more variation. But there are two endings and variation in how a number of scenes can go.
I really enjoyed your piece! Great sense of mood and horror. And I liked how you presented all the surreal stuff, both in text and in visuals. Excellent job, kudos!

Thank you! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it.
Wow, this was outstanding! The mood, the pacing, the mystery of it, and the subtlety of the choice mechanic all gripped me. All of the options seem like we’re just making up a story for someone, but there’s a looming sense that each one will matter a lot in ways we can’t sense when we’re making them. The payoff lives up to that in spades.
I got Ending A, by the way.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Ending B. Great story with excellent pacing and just enough restraint. Each break felt properly timed, and the endgame summary matched what I thought I was doing, as well as hinting at other branches. Well done!
This was absolutely beautiful. Well done, I am blown away.
Thank you so much! I'm fairly inexperienced as a writer so it does a lot for my confidence to hear that you enjoyed it. Also, you should check out other games from the inkjam if you haven't! Random recommendations: check out They Were Here, "Gospel Says (I lied)", and "I'm late for work AND stuck in a time loop!!"
I have since realized you are perfectly aware of the jam, and now get to feel dumb. But still, thanks for your comments!
You passed my test!
Looooooved it!
Bonus point for the use of "I'm flabbergasted."
Thank you! It was definitely a fun word to put in there, although maybe pushing it in the "prose that sticks out" department.
Stunning experience! I loved it! Brilliant writing and absolutely captivating story!
I had ending A btw. :)
Thank you! It means a lot to hear when people enjoy it. I'm also glad to hear that people keep getting ending A because it's the one I think is much more interesting! The curse of interactive fiction is that some some paths are just not going to be as enjoyable as others.
This grabbed my brain and didn't let go until I was done. Really well paced writing which felt like it reacted well to my choices, some lovely, creepy imagery, a good use of changing the theme to impact the game, incredibly well done!
Thank you for your kind words! I'm happy to hear that the choices felt reactive.
Oh goodness me... this is my favorite by far! I got A, but I'm definitely replaying to see what changes. This is so cool! I love the color changes as well.
Thank you so much! I think A is the more interesting ending. There's definitely scene variations and random details before the endings too , but one of the things I wish I had time for was waaay more variation.
If there were more time, perhaps. But in any case, it's really cool. Thank you for making it!
Heck yeah, that’s a nice jam entry. Well done!
The shift in colours depending on the situation is such a good idea.
Got the A ending and I enjoyed going through this so much that I don’t think I want to change reality and try another one. Am I making any sense?
Thanks! I totally get you and can be the same way with games. Ending A is the one I'm happier with anyway and the one I hope people see more often.
I loved it! Really enjoyed the progression, I could never tell what was coming next, couldn't stop reading! I enjoyed feeling like I was playing 2 games, and then those games... well, I don't want to spoil things for anyone else! Well done.
Thank you so much! I haven't written much in the past so it means a lot to hear you enjoyed it :)
