I had fun with this one!  The ambiguity of what went where made it fun to solve the puzzles  and gather the resources.  As mentioned before, the game has a softlock, but it's still fun.

This was a fun little game. I softlocked myself on my first run since I didn't know how to retrieve items from the ship and kinda hoped placing items on top of each other would auto swap them out. A restart allowed me to beat both normal and slime universe. It was a fun little experience, though I kind of wished there was more (X3)

Overall, you did a stellar job!

Glad you enjoyed it.

Funny how every single one had the softlock issue :D The Drag and Drop issues will all be fixed with the next update.

The music was an excellent selection. Gives a chill, exploratory vibe.

Gameplay is pleasantly reminiscent of LucasArts adventure games. Collect a bunch of items, then read text and try to reason about which items work for the puzzle in front of you.

Given more time, I would have loved to see different descriptions of what's wrong with the machine parts, so you'd need to reason about what resources to plug in. That said, I still liked the moment of recognition: "Oh I see this resource says that it's cold. I have a pretty good guess where that's going to go."

I too, hit the softlock. Came back through again and finished the game.

Very calm and pleasant experience. Nice job.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll definitely update how the descriptions work.

(FYI your browser build doesn't seem to work for me! My feedback is based on the Windows build I downloaded)

Love the ambient feel and theme of this game! Very cool concept!

I may have unfortunately soft locked myself by trying to drag the red crystal on top of an existing item in another slot, which made me lose the crystal entirely, and I couldn't find another one. Still, I had fun playing! It may have been a little more helpful if the item descriptions aligned more closely with the hints given when testing whether the ship's systems worked or not, since I just ended up trial-and-erroring my way through each section one at a time until I found an item that worked. But if that was the intention, then all good!!

Great job overall!!

Thanks for your feedback. As in most jams i did ran out of time again, so unfortunately there are still a lot of bugs that i was not able to fix. I also realize that the my drag drop is a bit counter intuitive, that you are not able to switch items by simply dragging & dropping them.(Another thing i didn’t have the time for :O ) The trial and error approach was intended, in order to make the game not to hard for the purpose of the jam, but i certainly will change it later.

Did you replay the game to get to the second level after the bug?

PS: I am aware that the browser version doesn’t work, but i’m not sure why. But it doesn’t matter which version you choose, both are identical.
