This was a chill little game. A little science for my poor brain :D

Great game play, love the gene manipulation.

A couple thing to improve, I took a quest that had 4 things to make sure the plant had, and the text overlapped the flowers I had planted and made it difficult to read. This overlap issue also appears with the shipping box and the far right pot near the watering can, trying to place a previously grown flower in that pot will trigger the box and not allow you to replant it. Moving the shipping box down would solve the issue.

Also I may have found a glitch with the two pots on the bottom, I grew something in the second pot on the bottom and the next day it was showing red, so I attempted to replant it but it wouldn't let me. I tried moving a different plant to that pot but the same issue of not letting me plant a plant in those two pots.

I also think some way of keeping track of your findings would be good.

This one is so stylized and fun with the allele mechanic! In late game it really shows just how much effort you put into those gene changes. I thought the tulips were hard, but those pansies are no pansies when it comes to their genetics XD. It had a nice mellow vibe, although it makes me feel like I need to grab a notebook and jot down what alleles tie to what genes they effect. This is a really nice and scientifically themed game that I bet some teachers could utilize to teach kids about how alleles work.

What a blooming great job you did!

Very cool. I like the allele-based gameplay, and the atmosphere and writing are great. I eventually stopped playing because of the lack of an encyclopedia to review which things I'd bred to what results. But if that were present, I could see myself going through all of the content.

Notes from when I was playing:

The machine being available by hovering the mouse near the left side of the screen was really hard for me to discover.

The water icons were a little stressful, as I had no idea how to water the plants.

Oh, it took me a full bankruptcy and getting back to the quest screen to realize there was a watering can. It's really tiny and looks like one of the pots.

Once I figured out how the breeding letter pair selection worked, it was really slick. But I wish there was a little display at the bottom or something that told you what you'd filled in so far.

Would love to have place where I can check what alleles yield which results, so I can deduce how to get the results I need with less trial and error.
