How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
You'll try to take down a butter chicken factory, you eat the butter chicken, and you'll get unintentional side-effects from eating it, that will make it harder to go through the factory.

negative: I agree with what everyone said about coyote time, but I think it goes a little further than that.  You aren't able to jump while hanging more than half off an edge, which just feels super disempowering to the player.  Are you using a raycast down from the center of the player to detect if they're grounded?  I'd recommended using a boxcast instead.

positive:  I really like the implementation of post processing here, it really brings the assets to life! also the story is silly and the side effects make it very interesting.  nice job!

Oh, yes it's a raycast-down, thank you for the recommendation, I've been searching for a fix for a while now.

The dashing and jumping were a bit hard to master, but it is fun to play nonetheless. Great job on the graphics, too.

The visual is sooo good, but i'm still can't figure out, how to dash. It's why i can't do the second jump in factory(. Dialogue system also really good. But the character contoller sucks, it have some issues, f.e. when  out of a ground when you was walking on it, you should have like 0.3 seconds for jump (in air) to feel really free in jumps

Really nice visual design. Added touch of a main menu and settings really adds to the polish. Accessing credits (on Firefox) threw a critical exception, but not a big deal!

Great entry overall - having story elements woven into a competent platform was awesome. Only suggestion would be to implement some amount of coyote time in the future if time allowed as I personally flubbed a bunch of jumps right as I was leaving the platform.

Definitely a bit difficult for me, although I don't play platformers too much and I know that there is an audience for difficult ones. I want to say that some of the controls were weird (jump seemed to activate a little bit after I hit the spacebar; I seemed to slide a little bit when coming to a stop, etc.), but it's possible that's just me making excuses for how bad I was at it.

The art is awesome.  Love the backgrounds and the player sprite. Just wish I could have gotten a bit further.  In fact, I may come back to this!

Really nice style and the character controller feel really nice, but I think the level design is too unforgiving. I could barely make it into the game because the jumps were too hard. How do you get up to the high platform? But really good job on the presentation, it's a very pretty game.

Developer

Thank you, to get on top of the high platforms you need to dash diagonally after jumping.
