I see the concept there, you should keep expanding on this idea as it looks really cool!
Thank you. Sadly due to time constraints the theme didnt make it in, so it is merely a tech prototype right now. I also really liked the concept when I came up with the idea and really wanted to work on it, but it was also probably abit too ambitious for a weekend game jam. But I want to continue to work on it and expand on it.
Good game, but what happened to the theme?
Thanks!
Yea, sadly the theme didn't make it in. I didn't have as much time on the weekend as I would have liked to, so had to stop after finishing the system design and didn't get to implementing the theme and proper gameplay and just submitted whatever I had at this point.
The visuals are nicely done however I don't see the theme used at all, so - meh.
Thanks for trying it.

For a short demo or WIP this looks really great! And it looks like something I would have loved to play, which makes me sad there isn't more here. For what is here, it feels great. Being able to place the 3D objects on a rotating asteroid feels surprisingly natural. I liked the asteroid rotating slowly so you would need to have the collectors in different places to harvest sunlight. This is a really cool design space, I hope you continue to work on something like this!
As others have said, I don't think I saw the theme here at all, but still it looks really neat!
Thank you for the feedback, I'm happy to hear that.
Yea, sadly stuff came up and didn't have enough time to get to work on gameplay and theme after I was finished with the system design. Probably scope was also too ambitious for a game jam. But I'm planning to continue working on it and make something playable out of it. :)
very cool idea. Unlucky you couldn't add a resource manager in the asteroid, it was looking promising. I was following the game on twitter. I wonder if some curse will break buildings or what's your idea behind the theme.
Thank you for the feedback!
My idea for the theme was along the lines of having the curse be a supernova or black hole that is creeping up on the asteroid from behind. And you would need to build engines on the asteroid that you need to fuel with energy and materials to go fast enough so you can keep escaping it :)
Was probably abit too ambigous for a gamejam, but I want to revisit the idea of an asteroid builder game later for sure!
I also thought of maybe being able to build inside of the asteroid once you mined it empty and also hook up other passing by asteroids to the main one to mine other resources. But that was all beyond scope :D
For a prototype this is pretty cool. I could see this being a game where you have to run wires from power systems to ore machines and having to upgrade machines. Even though it wasn't finished and didn't have the theme, I still think it was pretty cool. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your comment! I will try to improve on it and maybe make it into a playable prototype later on. Yea, I was also thinking of having different upgrades and even the ability to hook up passing by asteroids onto the main one to increase your building space. Maybe in the future :)
Looks nice, but I am struggling to find the theme here
Thanks for playing! Yea, sadly I had less time than expected so I only got to implementing the systems, but couldn't finish the gameplay and implementation of the theme. Maybe next time :)
