Nice little bullet hell game. I dislike how if you get hit once you basically make the game permanently harder, but the visuals are implemented very well. Hope you get around to sound design at some point!
we will work on retriving scale growth option soon, thank you!
Fun and addicting bullet hell game. It has a good theme implementation.
My only problem was that you had to use the mouse to shoot (you probably used "Fire1" in Unity), it would have been way easier to learn and use, if I could use a keyboard button. Or as a compromise using the mouse to direct the bullet.
Thanks for trying the game and leaving a comment <3 We will add a keyboard button for shooting as soon as possible.
Fun game 😀, maybe if I'm bored I will play this game
Thanks :P
I like bullet hells a lot and this is not an exception. Good job!
Thanks for playing the game <33
Feels great to move around! fun game
Thanks for your comment!
Interesting mechanism and nice use of the assets! Fun game, even though I kept losing :)
Thank you!!! We will work on difficulty for sure:D
Nice game :)
i would have liked to keep the mouse button pressed for shooting but else was a good execution :)
Thanks for playing <3. Gonna add a keyboard button for attacking as soon as the jam ends.
The growth element adds a nice twist to an otherwise common genre. Nice!
Thank u <33
Such a nice idea, growth as a negative trait :)
Thank u for your comment!!
It's always more fun to take the theme as a negative feature.
Cool idea ! It's a nice game !
Thanks so muchh
Pretty fun game. I've made something like this is an older game jam but you did a better job at it. Great work! Keep it up!
Wow thank you!! We will for sure:D
I like the idea that you won't be defeated once you get hit instead you get bigger. But I think the left-mouse-fire design is unnecessary. Maybe auto fire is more appropriate. And I wonder is there any method to be smaller in this game?Otherwise this game will be more and more difficult.Sorry I's not good at top-down shooting game. It's really hard for me.
First of all thank you for sharing your opinions. We are highly aware of the difficulty being too high to play and will lower the scale after the jam ends. Space will be the shooting button in later versions. We planned to ad upgrades including making the ship smaller and changing attack patterns but couldn't afford the time in the jam :") Thanks for playing <3
Indeed, we have similar concept, but your polish is better :).
Thanks for playing and sharing your opinion <3
Very fun! I like that you used the theme as more of a punishment for the player than a game mechanic to be utilized, it feels more interesting and fits really well.
Thank you:D
Other than movement, I couldn't figure out the controls. Is there no way to shoot back?
Mouse 0 is the shoot button. Gonna add a controls part to the description soon.
Oh, I see. That's not a comfortable control scheme. I guess you're left handed? Still, why not make the spacebar shoot?
Anyway, I have a gaming mouse with programmable buttons, one of which is already mapped to turbo left click. Literal stream of bullets. :D
Turbo Left Click in a Bullet Hell game is a nice
cheatyfeature I think :PNice game!
Thank u!!
I've always liked the idea of games that get harder the more you fail, a la Demon Souls lol. The gains in size definitely make it a little harder to dodge. Could maybe have scaled it a little bit more, though it was still hard regardless lol
Thanks for playing <3 We're really considering changing difficulty settings as soon as possible.
Game is a bit hard, but i like idea of scaling in bullet hell.
Thank you so much <3
We'll probably lower the difficulty after all these comments :P
Using size for difficulty scaling is smart idea, yet it is too difficult for me :D
Thanks for sharing your opinion <3
A bit hard especially because enemies that appear stay on screen until you kill them. Despite that, the game is nice :)
Thank you!!
It takes a bit practice to get used to difficulty. We've made a lot of practice in 48 hours :existentialcrisisemoji:
