Nice, neat game, though I thought it was quite difficult at the start. Maybe if you could ease the enemy number or speed at first, then the player could adjust as it goes?

Really nice presentation and music though, so for a one-man team, I'd say good job!

thank you ^^ yeah, in the post jam version I increased the spawning time, and now the enemy can't spawn where the player is.

Very fun concept!

The problem I see is with the collision detection. Sometimes, the enemies get me even though they are not touching me.

Instant death! A bit hard but when you have a vine gun that covers the entire screen I suppose that is fair :)

Fun game and it was a lot of fun to use the plant gun! But maybe there would have been some way to better implement the theme?

Fun. I Like how SFX and music fit the game. Some of enemies could move faster. And usually when I survived spawn time I ran in area where enemies have only one open path then you just can "vine" them all. Score 135. Nice work.

Surprisingly satisfying combat mechanics, interesting take on the theme. Though I do wish there was some sort of progression.

Lining up a bunch of goons and slicing right through them is really satisfying. Like other have said I often times will die just because I was standing right next to where one spawned.

A fun top down shooter! I loved the vine gun, it was fun to watch it grow out when you shoot! Maybe instead of starting with a long reach, the vine could get longer with each enemy killed? It would help add a sense of progression :)

I was often killed by an enemy spawning really close/under me though, I'd think about adding a safe zone around the player where enemies can't appear!

Really creative and awesome use of the sprites. Shooting vines felt strangely satisfying and piercing attacks are always fun for trying to get combo kills!

This is great. LOVE the creative use of the sprites. You made a gun out of 3 random sprites. And I really like how powerful I feel. I’d add a little bit of juice, like screen shake and making the enemies flash white. Really fun game! Good job!

I really enjoyed this. It’s simple, but it’s ind of addictive. There’s something super satisfying about waiting until a bunch of enemies are lined up, that blasting them all in one go. And having the vines stay in place is a nice twist on the top-down shooter theme. Great work!

Shame there's no path finding, I like all the sound effects you added, makes a nice little touch, however they all turn off if I play the game more than once? Can't say whether you animated the 3, 2, 1 or not but these are absolutely amazing :D

Yeah i knoow sorry xD I'm still learning Godot and I was afraid that i can't pull off the path finding in time. They all turn off ? I didn't experience this issue... And yeah I animated the countdown with some Tween ! It was really fun to do !

It's totally legit to not go into deep IA in a gamejam so no worry ^^, it's even fun to find way to abuse that :p.

Fun game - I managed to cheese it a bit by hiding in a corner as the enemies don't path around objects! Loved the polish around the gun shooting etc!
