I love the concept of this game, the look of it and the whole activity of bouncing things off dinosaurs. I can definitely see this game being built on to make a popular, possibly even successful, game. Without extending it, just tidying up a few things here and there, adding some music and sfx, etc. would make this game a great calling card. So I wholeheartedly encourage you to stick with it.

Enjoyed my time in Droingy Droingy, would love to see some more levels.   The trees were a little inconsistent at times.  There is a level with trees near the bottom where you don't bounce until you are well past them, and another level with trees in the upper left that don't bounce at all.  But overall a very nice project.

I really liked this! The artstyle is great, right down to the colours you chose for the itch page. I checked out the book you mentioned and I'd say you nailed it! The text really sells the game on the children's book aesthetic.

As for gameplay, the collisions are a little awkward at times, but I don't mind. One thing I'd personally change is the time it takes to recharge after the ball hits something, it feels slightly too long.

The bouncing off the trees feels wrong, I expected it to bounce off the middle of the trunks but it seems to bounce off the bottom of the trunks instead. And some of the tree lines don't seem to work at all, though I do not know if that is a bug or just because I was missing the "barrier line" of the trees.  It's hard to read the line or understand how things will react since the visuals do not match the actual geometry.

Thankfully, you give us infinite shots, so it's just a matter of poking a bit to understand where things bounce. I had fun figuring out some of the screens, and I appreciate you introducing the dinosaurs one at a time with levels that require understanding to move on. It's very well designed overall, nice work!

I would love it if hitting the objects made sound! Blup for the ponds, roar for the dinosaurs, maybe a clunk for the trees, and so on.

I'm also not sure I understand what story is happening here. I don't really know why both the start and exit are a volcano. It seemed a bit random, lol.

Very nice work! The dinos are so adorable!

I love the way you incorporated the tutorial into the game. Nice work. Additional levels will add to the game, some in-between the ones you have, and some more after the last. And SFX, of course :D Good effort and definitely boingy!

Cool art style, fun game, only thing is the random? dinosaur movements make the last? level a bit frustrating. I'm guessing it is the last level (level 5 I think.) because then it crashed? Not sure if it was supposed to crash. It looks like it ran out of levels so maybe just ran out of time?

I will say this game makes vary little sense but I love it for the art anyway. It is adorable. Had fun.

Thanks for the submission. Have a good day.

First, thanks for giving the game a try and for the feedback. The game was indeed broken trying to load a level that did not exist yet. That is fixed now, with 3 more levels added.

Cheers!
