Great game, I think this is just about the perfect game jam game! It has one focus, and then iterates on the one concept to make a game that feels complete. The difficulty ratings for me seemed to be a bit off (for me the planet level was the hardest) but overall it was very fun!
Thank you! That is very kind of you! You are the first I've heard saying the planet levels were harder than the star levels, but they are very different in terms of mechanics so it would make sense that some might find one more difficult than the other and vice versa.
I really love this game. It is so creative. The gravity idea is great. This game looks amazing, the animations are very nice, the music fits perfect, I like everything in this game.
The different gravity modes made every level unique and cool.
I've managed to play to the star level. I was very surprised (positive) as I saw that the game has multiple levels. I thought the first level was everything this game has to offer but it wasn't the case.
Great work :)
Wow, thanks a lot! I'm really glad you liked it! Thank you!
Really dig the art of the game and swirling the planets. meteors is very satisfying! The music fits well and is fun to play with!!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
When I started I thought - well ok the art is nice but it's a simple arcade. But was really surprised by the gravity differentiation. Really liked it, achieved the end of the game!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Very fun game. I really like the gravity mechanic. One thing that would make it even better imo: make the player's object (meteorite, planet...) feel more heavy the larger it gets by decreasing its speed.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! I actually implemented that but I got some comments that they didn't like the feeling of not being in control of their planet and so I removed it in the final version. Perhaps there was a middle ground I could have found.
Really fun game, very addicting. One change I might add is to make the screen zoom out once you reach a certain size because at a certain point it becomes impossible to avoid getting hit.
Thank you! Yes I agree with you that the end could be a lot better, thanks for the feedback!
Really nice and polished game, reminds me of agar.io. If there's anything I would say to improve on, is at the end when you are massive and fill up the screen you just wait for more meteors (or until you go to the next level). Maybe make it so you can zoom out?, but overall it's a very good entry - good job!
Thank you! Yeah I agree that the end of each level could be more satisfying, thanks for the feedback!
BEST GAME of the game jam for the moment (on the 30 games i have played). Art style is wonderfull. I'm angry i want to find something to improve in the game and there is nothing. Well done. It's very fun to play. I finish it. Very good commands the physics is nice reactive and fun to handle.
Haha wow, thank you so much! I'm happy that you liked it and left me such a wonderful comment. It really made my day. Thank you!
You are welcome.
In fact i have finish allmost all the games of the game jam and your game is the best i have played. Not the one with the most complex mechanic but your execution of it is perfect. Could be a small mobile game.
If you got a bit of time i would apreciate to get your feedback on my proposal. : https://itch.io/jam/kindred-community-jam-6/rate/989211
I like the way the planet controls. Especially on the Star Level. But I didn't really enjoy where you are pulled to the other planets, feels out of controll and the game benefits from mastery. But I really like how you take mechanics and apply them to different objects in different levels. Great job!
Thanks for your comment! Yeah, I used different settings in different modes and I agree that enemies pulling the player removed some sense of control which isn't very nice. Thank you!
Loved this game! So simply yet quite satisfying. Never felt too overly difficult, but wasn't boringly easy. The sound design and music was great also! Starting with nothing and moving up fit the theme nicely too. Art style was fun and it made me far to happy when I realized I could get my rock, star, etc. to spin wildly. Great stuff!
Thank you! Haha, yeah I spent some additional time getting that spinning feature in. Glad you like it! Thanks!
I really like this game . you could have gone the easy route to just make it a endless highscore hunting game but instead you made so many different levels that are all interesting in their own way. I think the ending was amazing and abrupt cut at the end with the message made me laugh.
this isn't a very complex game and that is a good thing. I cant find any flaws whatsoever. just a very polished and brief experience. great job keep it up
Haha, I'm glad you like the ending! Thanks a lot!
Exactly my kind of tiny game; simple, and yet so engaging. Very easy in the beginning, hard on the bonus levels. Great looking graphics and smooth mechanics. Good job!
Glad you liked it, thanks!
I really liked the art style of the game, and the spinning of the rock when you like swirl your mouse, but I think the gravity of the other things floating towards you could be lowered. It felt a little like you could just sit in the middle and still progress regardless. Still pretty fun and cute tho :))
Thanks! Yeah at the two lowest difficulties the game almost plays itself... I should have made it more challenging at the beginning or removed the unlocking requirement of harder levels.
When I started playing I found it funny, because we had a similar idea where you would fly around breaking planets as a meteor, so kinda similar. The gravity systems and most of the other mechanics were pretty well done a great game!
Thank you very much!
