A fishing cat! Totally my bag. It was cute and well put together, the cat in the shop looks so cool. Was a bit hard to get the hang of the fishing rod but that's fishing I guess!
It's a really relaxing experience, and the both the art and music are really good! The price for the upgrades felt scary at first, but it actually was really quick to get enough, and they are satisfying to unlock, so that was well done too. I really like it! Also, it's fun to see that the title of our games are very close, but the games themselves are really different!
I'm really glad that it was a pleasant experience! A lot of thought was put on the pricing actually, so we're glad it's not actually too intimidating and that it feels good to unlock, ha ha.
Thanks for playing it! I'll be sure to check out your game too later I'm curious to see whats your take on 'Catch'. :D
Exactly like it says on the tin! A super relaxing fishing experience. Also it feels super satisfying to finally be able to catch those big fish at the bottom when you unlock all those upgrades!
My friend had a fishing game for Atari 2600 back in the day and it was very similar to this, but this is way better. Super fun and the physics of the line is really impressive. The pixel art (like the shop keeper) are really really good and the music matches with the game well. I'm trying to think how you could implement some more things in the water that could get snagged on your line, but other than that this was a blast.
Thanks for playing it! The physics was definitely very challenging to do and it took a lot of fine-tuning to not have it too janky, ha ha.
Making music is not my forte, so I was pretty worried about it. I'm really glad that you thought the music matched well! :D
Adding more objects other than the fishes is a pretty neat idea. We would probably have to give the fishing rod a much finer control to go along with it. Thanks for the suggestion though!

This was pretty good! And I love the artwork, especially the shop!
Thank you! The shop took the longest to make, so I'm glad you liked it! :D

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I can't get the game to load... No key will get past the 1X 4X thing....
Oh no, that's strange! The game should start by itself after that screen. What browser are you using?
Hey! Sorry it was my end apparently. It doesn't like Brave - Works in chrome :)
very addicting and reminds me of a awesome fishing game I used to play, Great work!
Yaayy, thanks a bunch for checking it out! :D
I'm curious, what was that fishing game you've played? Might serve as good reference for us in the future, ah ha.
I wish I knew the name, can't find it
