Not bad, my main complaint was already mentioned here. It was hard and unpredictable to control the character as if you pushed left it would go character left instead of screen left.

The game mechanics were pretty interesting! I've never seen combat approached this way and I really enjoyed it! Like others pointed out, the controls rotate with your character, which was disorienting. Would love to see a full game of this, an arena wave based project for example. Congratulations on submitting your first game and I hope you will submit even more in the future!

I liked it a lot the game mechanics but the move control was a bit weird. love the idea, great work.

good job with your firs game! maybe the controls are a little bit weird when the controls rotate with character, good job!

Honestly didnt expect anyone to do anything other than press forward and backwards, which is both based on mouse position.
Guess thats the pitfall of spending many times longer with a mechanic yourself.
Thanks for the great feedback.

Cool game! Love the top down and cartoon-y style. I'd only recommend having the sword shoot out in the direction of the mouse (it is always a bit to the left of where the mouse was), other than that great job!

Awesome take on a Hotline Miami style game!
