Cute little game here! The idea that the two characters have to traverse levels a little differently certainly has potential. I would have lived to see a few more levels, but such is often the fate of a game jam. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, I'll admit it needs more levels.

The concept is really good and fits perfectly with the theme. The gameplay was simple and enjoyable.

That was fun - nice little puzzle designs!

Thank you for the compliment.

I liked the music, and the concept was good. It did feel a little glitchy when walking on certain planks and the controls felt a little stiff, but it was fun to play overall.

This game has potential to be great, and fundamentally it's all there. You've made some nice levels and the mechanic of switching back and fourth it great. It's obviously got a ways to go, but you made a game and that's amazing. Be proud and great work! :)

I always like to be positive in these ratings and try and give as much feedback as I can.

That being said I also need to be as honest as possible to help you as a developer grow.

Starting with the positive, you submitted a game! Honestly that is really tough and you should be proud for having done so! My first 3 game jams I did I either didn't finish or couldn't bring myself to submit due to anxiety. So allow me to congratulate you on having submitted a game :D

Moving on to the more harsh feedback, this is a good foundation but needs a lot of work. You have a base here for a game, but need to add a little more to make it get there and be unique!

The idea of getting to man's best friend is great! I love it! Swapping between the two to assist is interesting and allows for a fun game where you swap between the two control types of a human and a dog. However those changes need to be there to make it more complete.

If you have any questions please let me know and I will gladly answer or clarify anything.

Good job chief! Keep on making games and improving! We're all in the same boat as you :D

Thank you for your feedback, I will admit that it could have done with more levels. I did have one more level, which admittedly isn't a lot more, however I gave up on making a tenth level due to what I assume is that my coding was not built all to well for reusing the buttons. Once again thank you for spending time to leave me some great feedback. Also good job on overcoming your anxiety to submit a game.
