Really enjoy the graphics!
Thank you for taking the time to comment
Other than the beats at the front, I liked the song, and I think the gameplay is going somewhere on this. As it stands, the difficulty balance is super swingy: Either you’re looking at the rocks when they land, and shoot them, or you aren’t. But the movement is very smooth.
I think that adding a lot more rocks, but slowing them down would make for a very interesting dance with the current controls.
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I will try to make it more challenging.
Very smooth movement! It would be great to have a pause. I died when trying to adjust the web page scroll.
Thanks :) I think a pause would be good but I did not have enough time.
maybe add separate strafing and aiming because I couldn't really understand the behaviour of how the game chose which way to aim when you are pressing multiple keys.
Thank you :) I may change the turning method and maybe use the mouse which would help.
This game is very easy. Too easy that the player can survive as long as they want until they would want to stop playing.
The enemy spawning system is too slow and has only one spawn point which is not challenging. I can only see the change in enemy speed during the gameplay.
However, those sprite are nice.
Thanks for your comment. I think some people find it harder and some people find it easier. Now I have more time I will try to make some optional harder settings :)
Fun game. I liked the grid background to help line up shots. I also liked the loop mechanic but I only knew about it after I read the comments but other people figured it out so I might be the only one. I would have liked a volume adjuster though because it was too loud for me.
I think volume settings would be good but I didn't have time during the jam. Next time I will write the controls in game, thank you!
The music fits the gameplay quite well. I also like that you loop back to the other side of the screen when you walk out.
Thank you, using the loop back to the other side of the screen is a good strategy for dodging boulders. :)
