Did you work in a team?
2 members,
Kris did programming, animation and music
Tori did programming and animation
yes this was a fun experience

Was the resolution a challenge?
We felt that the low resolution made things easier as we could make animations much more quickly. The only challenge was getting the characters/bgs etc to look right and not overly detailed

What did you learn?
Yes this was our first time making a rhythm game and we learned a lot from it. What we learned from this will go a long way in future projects.

I will treasure the first time playing this forever.

Seriously, it's a really lovely looking game, with great music, and a "laugh out loud" intro. The rhythm element is great, although I wouldn't have minded a little more visual confirmation that I was hitting it correctly.

I'd love more feedback on if I'm doing it right, but furthermore this is a really cute little game :) I was jamming out on the music, not gonna lie.

A strange little game!  The talking seal at the beginning saying goodbye to human man bob was really heartfelt.  Maybe they'll cross paths again one day?

Also cool that you managed to fit a little Family Guy easter egg in there!

My name is Robert so this was a mix between awkward and sweet at the same time.

This really put a smile on my face. The spittle from the talking, er, walrus(?) and the over the top schmaltzy story were hilarious. I couldn't play the actual game for toffee but this was a very amusing experience, thanks for sharing it!

There is only one goal: don't stop skipping. A premise that sounds frankly stupid. But...

The simple gameplay is framed in terms of two lovers, Simone and Bob, spending a precious moment together. After which, they may never see each other again. As the player, you feel a certain responsibility to keep going, even though you know that this too shall pass.

Very meta. I was surprised myself how highly I rated this game. "petah" mode is just icing on the cake.
