Did you work in a team?
I pretty much did everything in this game. Otherwise audio was edited mostly from freesound.org, some free sample libs (probably cymatics and sonniss?), and some BFXR generated sounds. The pixel art was mostly by me, but I referenced a ship super heavily when creating mine. It was pretty stressful due to IRLcircumstances, but overall it was fun!
Was the resolution a challenge?
My game wanted screen space. I originally wanted to make the character larger, and the arena larger. However, 64x64 made that impossible. Instead, I made the character sprite half the original size.
What did you learn?
I learned a bit about how to orchestrate music. I also learned a bit about mixing and EQing stuff. I still don't understand compression. I also learned that Unity is not doing so well for me. Pixel art is a hard thing to do cleanly with the engine. Also, I've been getting a few errors that make me have to reload the project. It's annoying. Can't wait to try Godot. I'm pretty quick in Unity though.

I had high expectations because the preview GIFs looked great, and it met those! That opening sequence gave me chills and the pace is super fun. The most stylish game of the jam!
Cool and fun game! The music going all throug the scene it's an excellent touch. Congrats for that! My only problem with the game was the jump button, I really wants to jump with W (because I made some platform + mouse aim games and always uses W to jump, so I get used to that haha)
Good job!
Really cooool ! I wish there was more, or maybe a boss, to conclude the adventure !
The grapple took me some time to learn, but it is definetly satisfying to use!
I loved pushing the enemies, it was a really cool touch to the game and made the whole universe more tangible.
I hope there will be updates post-jam, I will be here for sure !
This is very fun! Using the grapple is satisfying, and the platforming in general makes me actually feel like I'm in a action-packed fire fight. It could do to be a bit more challenging; this is a game you can do a lot with in the future.
Really sweet game here! Loved the grapple mechanic and the great art-style. Really nice work!
