Did you work in a team?
I was by myself for most of it, but SpaceCastle joined halfway through to help with sound effects!

Was the resolution a challenge?
I decided to make a little compact game to fit the resolution :)

This game is actually based off of one I made for the BBC micro:bit, a tiny little computer board with a 5x5 LED display.

What did you learn?
I learned a new pixel art style while making this game: the "blurry pixels" effect where there are no hard edges to the sprites was something I've never done before!

Cute little shooter! Simple but fun! I liked the cutscenes, but they felt a bit wordy maybe! Really nice job though!

Great game! What I really liked was that you put a lot of emphasis on small details that give the game a much more polished impression. Well done, congratulations on the game.

This one is in many aspects really good!

Sometimes it feels a bit claustrophobic. And the "cut scenes" are way to frequent for me.

That said, the soundtrack is great, the story and cut scenes are lovely made. And the pacing is on the point. Especially the last one is hard to get right in such a short time. And did I all ready said, how great the soundtrack is? :D

Fun game! The idea feels like it has some depth to it that could be iterated on!

Gameplay is simple, but very nice! I like aesthetic music and funny dialogues.

Simple but lots of fun... once the blue ships appear the difficulty escalates quickly!  Also loved how  the enemy movement is tied to the music. Good job!

I had a lot of fun with this. The mechanics felt good, and the audio was fantastic. I did feel like the upgrade that tied your health to your ammo felt like a bit of a downgrade, but it was an interesting spin on it. Oh, and I enjoyed the writing as well.

This one is really fun. Interesting concept with your health being your ammo… I found it frustrating that as things got dicey it ended up being harder to get myself out of trouble.. but I suspect that’s the feeling you were going for.

The upgrades made for a fun progression as the difficulty ramped up!

I was impatient to play this game, your posts on discord caught my attention because of the art style. Excellent game, gameplay is fun and balanced, the blurry sprites are on point (except maybe on text, it was a bit hard to read at first), and the audio is very nice ! good job !

Your hotdog is in another vender.

This is great!

I loved the gameplay system and the upgrades. The upgrades made me keep playing, and the changes in environment kept me on my toes. This was some fun reactionary (and look-ahead) gameplay. The animations eveywhere felt great too, although I personally don't like the blurry pixel thing. I only died once in the end due to not being used to the You're the Gun upgrade. The hotdog story was a fun one. Good job!
