Nice entry but I’d say it requires a bit more balancing… economical growth is too slow to be able to deal with the multi enemy hordes showing up quite soon reasonably. Good potential to grow into something that could be very interesting.
Congratulations on making this game ! I've played your game during a live that you can watch here :
The live is timestamped so you can go directly to your game.I hope the feedback and live reactions will be useful. Keep it up !
Thanks, i will check it out!
My pleasure ! Happy to help.
I like it but...
I need a third hand to control:
1. C and B
2. arrows
3. mouse
This is not good.
You can make it so that you can use the mouse everywhere.
Or you can make shortcuts: press 1 to summon Peasant and 2 - Warrior.
Sometimes when I click on the Peasant button the game doesn't summon it.
And after 10 rounds the game starts to lag.
Thanks for the tips, the lag part is because of the pathfinding, the mouse and control i agree that its annoying, thanks for playing!
Nice game. I had fun building an unstoppable army. Some aspects can be improved but it's not bad at all, especially for a first jam!
I should have polished the game more, but i think i would have to remake a lot of pathfinding mechanics to do that, thanks for the comment!.
Having to use both the mouse and arrows is a bit uncomfortable, I think it's probably better if all the controls were on the keyboard. Also I feel that the game could need more units, as I feel the beauty of RTS games resides in the different strategies you can use. Anyway interesting concept and really good work!
I agree, i made the game a bit rushed and very simple, tbh i did not think i could even make a rts game in time so i was surprised to make something playable at least, thanks for the comment!
I didn't fully understand what to do but it was a cool idea.
Nice project! It took me a minute to get the controls down, but it was pretty cool once I got the hang of it.
It was my first game so many of the concepts were new to me, the game is not really polished as i tried to just make it not break lol, anyway thanks for the comment your game is one of the best in this game jam imo.
