Tools
Gamemaker Studio 2 & Photoshop. GMS 2 helps make quick small games & Photoshop for me is easy to use for pixel art.
Lessons
Getting enough content even in a small game is hard. Best to make your gameplay revolve around reusable content or easy to add content when short on time.

Music was pretty damm good ! But I do feel some sfx was missing but it's only a personal choice.
Gameplay was good, but I was a bit lost when a suddently rotate my camera, but yes good game and good job !
Tried to keep the audio clean from a lot of sfx. There could be some more added in tho.
Thanks for playing!
Man do I love RotMG and I think you went ahead and took the best aspects of it and really piggybacked off them. I know a fellow realmer when I see one. Good job, I beat it in 10 min 47 sec and am Inclined to try again. Oh and the music was so good
Framerate seems low on browser with fast guns, downloaded version runs much better. Current highscore : 5 min 17 sec
took me a hot minute but i beat that score :)
Damn, I didn't get anything that quick while testing. Nice 👍
Thanks for Playing!!
Well hi there fellow realmer!
I got something like 400 hours on realm, It's soo fun yet soo frustrating.
Wish I had more time to add in more weapons and complex bosses.
Thanks for playing
Had a blast! I may have way more than 400 hours in rotmg lol. I did some classic dungeon rushing in your game and found some shortcuts
Thanks for making!
Nice submission! That flamethrower worked best for me especially given the screen size constraints - it's pretty tricky but maybe I have to get good haha.
Hard as nails :)
Thanks for playing!
Really cool! It feels finished, much more coherent than one expects for a quick jam.
Thank you for playing!
It helps when 90% of you're art is only 6x6 tiles 😆
This is awesome! Surprised by the player controller camera rotation but it adds a lot of fun and gives a good game feel. Overall very solid submission. A few bottlenecks that get really spammy were hard to get past, having a weapon type to counter that (longer range single shot or grenade) would have been very handy :) (or maybe i missed something)
Further on there are chests with new weapons, towards the end you'd get a flamethrower and a sniper like weapon.
Ran out of time for enemy variety so had to reuse them sadly. I'll keep difficulty in mind for next time.
Thank you for playing!
The flamethrower saved my run!
Burn it with fire!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
This was a fun game! The rotating camera function was super dope, took a second to get used to it but helped out a lot once I got the hang of it. Great job overall!
Sick, was trying to find more ways to make 2D interesting. Thanks for playing!
