First time using the Godot Enigne. So far i adore it! IT's nice and easy to use but still requires users to think like programmers.
Lessons
Not good at making music or sounds ;-; YET!

Such a cute little game! I love the grubs' faces, and the inclusion of a speedrunning timer is inspired. Great work!
I’m a sucker for platformers and this is really neat! Especially for a first time using Godot!
I’d love for you to look into strategies like coyote time and jump buffering for your next platformer, but this is a really solid foundation! Great graphics, beautiful attack animation, and I love the level design. Really nice work!
Pretty fun! I too had issue with enemies riding on my head xd. A slight delay before `is_on_floor()` takes effect would make jumping more pleasant!
Thanks! I'm sure theres nifty ways to stop enemies becoming hats but I just found it too hilarious to not call it a feature haha!
I'll take a look into that delay you mentioned. It does feel a bit "raw" at the moment.
Hack-and-slash platformer stripped down to its bare essentials. I really dig this. It’s satisfying to play a hundred times and try to optimize for speed (47.13 here, but I’m sure I could still do better…)
Well done!
47.13!? Ho Dayum congratulations and thank you for playing! This is by far the best score I've seen so far.
For it being your first game jam, I think you did a great job. Cool little tune, I love the use of the space that was provided. Great job!
Thanks for playing! One of my favourite takes from this was that level design is really fun once the programming is over!
Congrats on submitting to your first jam, glad you liked it! You made a simple but charming game, it's solid and the platforming feels great! (notoriously hard to get right)
And I like the way the characters little hat moves :)
Thanks for playing my game! You have a point the movement could do with some refinement. At the moment the Player's enemy collider and wall collider are the same thing. I think making them two seperate things, then making the wall collider a bit smaller would do some good. It would definitelymake it easier to get the player into tight spots.
