I had a borderline religious experience with this game. Its mechanics and control scheme feel so natural and intuitive that I'd sooner believe this game was brought into existence by the universe itself, not made by a human for a game jam. When the screen flooded with UFOs peppering my robot with their hateful bullets, I felt a deep, wistful sadness that I usually only feel at the end of The Iron Giant. 11/10

I thought the jankier elements of this game actually made it a lot of fun. Clipping through walls adds a sense of wonder to the exploration, and being able to mash the attack button to attack as fast as you can during battles made me laugh every time. The character and enemy design is super charming too. Excited to see what you make next!
