Also if you want to witness my religious experience, I streamed it along with a bunch of other games from the jam (yours is at 1:10:10):

I had a borderline religious experience with this game. Its mechanics and control scheme feel so natural and intuitive that I'd sooner believe this game was brought into existence by the universe itself, not made by a human for a game jam. When the screen flooded with UFOs peppering my robot with their hateful bullets, I felt a deep, wistful sadness that I usually only feel at the end of The Iron Giant. 11/10

Also if you haven't heard of it, you should check out Libble Rabble:

I found this oddly soothing, almost hypnotic. Once you get in the rhythm of catching fruit, it's hard to stop. Really impressive for only an hour!

I thought the jankier elements of this game actually made it a lot of fun. Clipping through walls adds a sense of wonder to the exploration, and being able to mash the attack button to attack as fast as you can during battles made me laugh every time. The character and enemy design is super charming too. Excited to see what you make next!

This game has such a cool vibe, it doesn't feel quite like anything else I've played. Somehow the design of the creatures, the animations, and the bleep-blorpy sounds all come together to create this authentic sense of a strange, surreal world. Really cool stuff.

This was a lot of fun! I'll never tire of blastin' 'stroids. The 3D reticle is super slick. Great choice of music too!

Such a cute little game! I love the grubs' faces, and the inclusion of a speedrunning timer is inspired. Great work!

SICK AS HELL! The music is unreasonably good for a game that was made in one day. Clever game design in its purest form

This is crazy intricate for a game jam game, and quite compelling in spite of its complexity. I had no idea what was going on, but I enjoyed experimenting to try and decipher the rules of the world. Great job!

I feel like you've tapped into a profound and disturbing aspect of human psychology. I am accomplishing nothing, I have no control, and yet I feel compelled to keep clicking. I disagree with the negative comments; this project is everything it needs to be. Well done.

This was such a chill time! Love the music and overall vibe :)

Amazing. I'm at a loss for words. So joyously creative. Thank you for making this.

This kicks ass! Super polished, really tense and fun! Really clever handling of the resolution

Thanks so much!

Thanks! Yeah I may have gone a little overboard on the last level ^^' Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed :)

Thank you for the kind words!

This rules! I'm amazed by the level of polish. The sound effects, the animations, everything feels so natural, it pulls you right into the world. Gameplay's super tight too!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

This is lovely! I love the look and sound of the animals, they're so readable with so few pixels. Great music too!

Thank you for your feedback! I agree about the sound effects, I wanted to add some but alas, I had to prioritize fixing menu bugs :/ Maybe I'll upload an updated version sometime. I'm glad you liked the movement!
