We were inspired by the "destruction for gain" theme, creating a game where your HP is an important resource! It added something really special to our game.

I’m a sucker for a good platformer, and that’s an awesome take on the theme!

It’s a shame it’s not 64x64 pixel resolution for the jam. I wish the jumps were less floaty too, and the inertia killed me. And at first, I was chuffed that your jump buffering and coyote time were spot-on, but then I realised they were registered as double-jumps and I was losing blood.

In the end, I love this idea as a puzzle platformer where double-jumps have a cost. If you tightened up the movement, I’d be back for more in a heartbeat. Really nice work!

Looks pretty nice and I liked the double jump costing you health! But I certainly didnt how floaty the character controls, not my kind of difficulty.

Nice graphics though the font is not within the 64x64 resolution limit.

Well at first I thought: oh what an interesting mechanic, you can fart your guts out to gain some height! I guess it kinda makes sense that it would kill you after a few of those nasty taco bell waterfalls! Really great take on the theme, really fitting music / atmostphere (reminded me of the Doom sountrack!). I think you could have gone a bit further in respecting the 64x64px resolution because most of your gameplay actually fits in there. I also would change the ability keyboard map to space x2, a bunch of times I have accidentally used my ability when I just wanted to do a precise jump. Really cool idea and great execution overall!

Thank you! I was inspired by Doom, I'm glad you like the music. Thanks for taking the time to play and give your thoughts, I really appreciate it. <3

Real nice!

I had to give just 1 star for Authenticity because you’re using a 600 pixel framebuffer and not 64.

But aside from that technicality, this is awesome. Any chance of adding gamepad support after the jam?
