Lovely graphics, fun game! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation, if you’d like to take a look :)
Yay! Thank you very much!
Get a cool let's play – achieved :D
The background is absolutely breathtaking (parallax, particles, animations...). And the rolling is fun! :)
Thanks! : )
Great use of 2.5D - wouldn't have thought it possible at 64x64. The health meter is really clever too (I just wish there was a way to fill it back up a little ;)
Thank you! : )
Yeah, I will definitely add health-kits in the post-jam version
Oho! This one's simple and short, but really fun to play! The animations were really well done and the music was, as people said, kinda unexpected, but really awesome too! It's also really challenging starting from the 3rd wave, I died quite a bit there XD
Good Job!
Thanks a lot! : )
Yeah the rolling-guy is pretty dangerous haha
Nice to see other people doing a beat 'em up as well. I thought to be the only one but I was wrong! :-D
Nice game with interesting combination of colour and music.
Well done! :-)
Didn't expect that style of music.. but certainly a solid little game with lovely art style.
No one expected :D
Amazing graphics-wise! And the controls are good, as everyone says. ^^; I'm just really terrible at fighting games. o.o;; The enemies would instantly punch me when they appeared, and a few times I'd roll into my death. So, Idunno. ^^; Still a good game.
Thank you for your feedback!
Here is a tip just in case : )
Roll does not save from a direct punch, but opponents beat with a delay. So a good tactic is – quickly roll to be behind his back (when he comes up) and punch from there, and when he turns to you – roll and punch again. Just a bit of practice and everything will turn out!
Love it, wonderful style and solid gameplay, well done!
Awesome! :D
I just wish a tutorial or basic controls in game, but this is justa minor wish! Good job!
Thank you! : ) Yeah, tutorial needed. If there be a post-jam version I definitely add it
Loved the retro pixel fighters and the feel of the "3D" platform. Controls feel good and fluid. Everything fits and reads really well in 64x64. Maybe I missed it, but a way to regain health would be a nice touch I think.
Oh, I wanted to make the health-kits drop out of the train when it passes by : ) but unfortunately, I didn't have time
Thank you for the comment!
Wow - crazy good atmosphere.
WOW, this is really really nice! You've done a great job in rendering the background area, with the floating papers, train, and 3d effects. This is one of the best I've played in this jam so far!
Thanks! : )
Great game, loved the art, the animations like the train, the wind etc look so cool and well made, great job, the game is fun, and I loved the controls they are very intuitive, it is great to see a game like this in a 64x64 screen, congratulations, awesome game !
Thank you! : )
I liked the floaty heart.
Kinda cool! I like the atmosphere, although the music doesn't fit in my opinion. I really like the health bar!
Nice graphics, sound and gameplay. I liked how we don't have a healthbar, but a heart following us, really neat! Congratz!
Notes: My game got stuck when I died the first time.
Go take a look at my game if you have the time.
Cheers.
very cool graphics. especially the train. nice perspective too.
very enjoyable with XBox controller
very neat looking game with incredible atmosphere. the combat was satisfying and I enjoyed it :)
I love the small details! Like screenshake and paper flying around.
To be honest, it is a snow, but I've always liked the newspapers that flying around the city in GTA 3. Two things in one effect – done :D
love the aesthetics. The graphics deserves more than 5 stars imo
