The pixel art, animations, sound design, and combat mechanics are all great! I felt that it was a little tough at first until I got used to the combat and buying a lot of health lol. Would love to see more of Forsaken coots :)

Thought here's a big lack of readability on your attacks and enemy attacks that makes it a bit too frustrating.
not sure if its on purpose but attacking up and down is hard because you aim sideways if you stop holding up.
generally with short jam games it can be good let people continue from the round they're at as its pretty frustrating to keep restarting so most people won't complete it, but its a design choice if you want to keep it hard

Also the start all over aspect i chose because i think it builds more tension when playing. otherwise the game would be too boring. Thank you for the constructive feedback and thank you for playing!

Fun game. Agree with one of the comments asking to show the range of the shotgun. Would help with the risk reward of trying to line up a bunch of enemies to get in one or two blasts if you knew how much range you were shooting. Didn't complete it but will definitely come back once jam voting is over so I can sink more time in trying yo complete it.

Really fun game! I'd suggest maybe adding a lil marker to show the range of the shotgun instead of having to guess how far it can shoot. But overall, love the art style, movement and gameplay.

Extremely nice art and artstyle. I like all the little things you did like being able to skip the cutscene. I also like that there's a very limited number of bullets you can carry, really forces the player to strategize about where to move. Nice work!

I went pew pew but then noticed the 3 million enemies that I had no bullets for so I lost.
Use ‘C’ to melee attack when out of ammo. this also greatly improves ammo drop rate. You can always buy ammo in the shop at the top of the map for $100 or for $50 off a merchant. Thanks for playing.
I like that more sinister theme going on and the gameplay is also easy to get used to. I died several time to a jumping pile of flesh firing a quick beam xD i had a lot of fun playing it. titelscreen has no music but the ingame music is real enjoyable.
Thank you very much. Yeah if you ever boot up the game again, try shooting those “bots from a distance”. Their hit box is as big as their range so you can shoot them from far. Thanks again!
It looks and sounds amazing! The one main problem I noticed was that the gun was almost impossible to aim, but it was otherwise very good
Thanks. Aiming is basically as easy as walking. Your gun is aimed in the direction you’re walking.
