Actually really fun to play! The perspective is a bit confusing but the controls were very intuitive!

I like the progression of obstacles, felt like a smooth ramp up in difficulty!
always fan of monkey ball type of games, this game had its own charm goodjob with that, just need a little bit polish and some variety environment it will be nice
Fun basic concept but definitely has some room for improvement the execution. Nice work!
I'm not entirely sure why, but this was somewhat nauseating for me. I think maybe it has to do with the fast moving clouds in the BG. I've played Super Monkey Ball and it definitely doesn't have that effect on me, so yeah, not sure. I wish there was a bit more colors in the world just to ease on the red, as it felt a little eye-straining.
I figured that was the case (for the colors, I mean), but I can suggest maybe dark deep blues for the BG can help cause the red on the floors isn't that bad, just the yarn (unavoidable to look at) and the sky. But that's for later, if you wanted to work more on the game after the jam. Gameplay itself I can see as being fun. Once the nausea-feeling is removed, cause the ball itself handled well. I think it might be the slight disconnect between the camera and the world movement... I honestly don't know what else to say, but just studying Super Monkey Ball and how it plays I guess might help. xD
I cached myself right at the border many times, really cool mechanic!
When I first got the idea for this game, I actually had no idea about super monkey ball. I only found out about it when I was already working on it! I believe the idea actually came from Neverball (a game I played very briefly when I was much younger and forgot the name off until much later when I stumbled on it after finding out about super monkey ball). I definitely have an affinity for those kinds of games. Thanks for playing.
I was just getting a hang of it and it crashed! :( but fun idea used to play with these kind of games all the time as a kid
The controls were kinda awkward but just takes a bit of playing to get used to it. Great concept with you being the big ball of yarn chasing the cat, definitely a cat's nightmare.
I like the twist that you play as the yarn, the intense music and visuals with the red skybox works really well together and had me at the edge of my seat. The controls were trippy, but controlled well. I also really appreciated the checkpoints. I did however get stuck after the two or 4 sets of moving platforms there was a rotating set of lasers and I never saw an opening and died maybe 10 times there before giving up.
Thanks for checking it out! For the rotating set of lasers there is actually an opening to the right. Though to get to it you first need to wait for the set of lasers to fully rotate to the left (counterclockwise), then you have to control the yarn ball to the area that is surrounded by the rotating lasers, and then finally you need wait for the set of lasers to fully rotate to the right (clockwise) while making sure the yarn ball doesn't touch the lasers . When the set of lasers is fully rotated to the right, you will be able to continue onward. If you're not sure where to go just pay attention to where Coots is.
