How does your game fit the theme?
The game revolves around breathing deeply. It's an abstract interpretation, but "take a breath" is a common way to help someone relax or calm down.

I have a hard time getting the game to launch, I had to refresh my browser a few times and the music was really loud but once I got to play I could see the appeal of this style of game, once you get into the motions it can seem very relaxing.
Scored 7472, would be nice if I could have turned music down, its simple but quite enjoyable to play. Do you have any plans on converting this to mobile? I think this would be very cool to play on a phone.
Yeah I should really have put in some volume sliders, sorry about that.
Mobile version is already in progress, thank you! :D
It's amazing and also amazingly stressful somehow. Almost managed 25k, but I've been playing for way too long now :D
incredible 😂 I've only managed 20k myself! I actually thought it was something of a soft limit, since the only score that beat it was 1 point above mine.
I actually designed it to be as stressful as possible - the first version was supposed to be super relaxing and chilled, but I missed the mark *completely*... I decided to lean into the stressful vibe, and I think it worked out pretty well!
Drinking a cup of coffee and playing this game is my new morning ritual, thank you.
7565 :) I saw early post from this in discord. Really great final game. I had a good breathing exercise while playing :D Thanks for the game
Interesting take on the challenge. Really open my mind on how to execute a game jam with a simple concept but manage to provide a solid experience.
Tutorial might be intentionally left out in order to let the players find out the best approach for the highest score.
Simple, straight to the point, straight to the theme. Well executed. Could have a bit more of gameplay mechanics, like speed up when time is running low, or a type of bonus if you breath in the right timing. Small things to make it more "gamy". Anyway, good job man! :D
Enjoyable and concise
An interesting experience, sorry for zero explanations and I don’t want to play this. But the goal/opportunity ratio is at its best.
Thanks for the comment! I'm not entirely sure what it means, sorry 😅
There are no rules of the game, it is hard to understand the very essence of scoring. As a game - it's a failure (get bored in 2 minutes), but as a mini-game for a set of bonuses, it's gorgeous. Very interesting approach to the implementation of the topic.
ah that makes sense, thanks for clarifying. For scoring, you get between 10 and 100 points based on the size of the yellow blob. There's a hidden multiplier that goes up by 1 every time you get points, and resets to 1 after a second. I should've added some text for the multiplier and possibly for the score too to make that a bit more obvious!
2 minutes is good actually, I only really built it to be interesting for one run through 😂 I've got some ideas for making it a little bit more interesting over longer periods of time for a mobile release!
good mood, I can give advice as a senior colleague - let's test games with relatives / friends to get an assessment even in the development process - you will have to redo less later. Or put yourself in the place of the player (preferably the one who launched the game for the first time)
The breathing mechanic was well done, would like to see a mobile application of this!!
Just because you asked - here's a sneak preview ;)
I love competitive breathing, the scoreboard is a nice touch
Really creative! loved it!
very interesting game mechanic, Easy to start playing, hard to stop playing it's very competitive. ;D This game would suit mobile platforms very well!
juiced up, big numbers. easy to learn, hard to master
