reminds me too much of the news but congrats on the submission and good art

:D That escalated quickly. I love the humor in this game. It is all also very well implemented. Nice graphics, and the music plays perfectly with the game. Some characters could have had maybe less hitpoints. Overall great entry!

I played this game outside of the queue & had issues with the difficulty (I think, as I played too many games outside the queue as well😅)

Going to give it a play now & see If I can get past the first wave!

The opening screen is a nice touch to the story, The difficulty does seem to be balanced & much easier than before. I like how when you breathe & everything is calm this one NPC starts using his phone & starts chilling 🤣🤣 and then when its back to fight mode he comes back like 'aight break over'😂

Tony's spinning attack got me ngl. I feel it's a tad bit difficult but that's good for the challenge & I'm just a 'easy' mode player so 🤷‍♂️

Funny & Goofy 'Idle' Animations were my fav part about the game. Took me a bit to see the 'red' hit cone under the player since everything is red.

Congratulations on completing the game!

The best part of the game is when you take a deep breath. I think it really fits the theme of the jam.

This is the most fun game i've ever played in the jam so far!! 100/10

Incredible! There are a lot of games here that use anger management as to why it fits the theme and I feel like this game does the implementation of that the best out of all of them. Gameplay was fun although I wish I could make the game just a tad bit harder. But that’s a personal preference. Good work.

Neat game!! Took a few tries to defeat my anger issues, but I had fun doing it! The combat feels chunky and satisfying and the various boss enemies kept me engaged througout. The chromatic aberration effect made the names of the bosses a bit hard to read, but that’s a just a small nitpick.

Great work!

Loved this game! Movement and combat both felt natural and easy to understand. The art was great and the music added a lot to the game, especially how the music was used as the timer for how long you had left in the zen mode. All of the enemies were really well designed and it felt quite fair. I think the UI was quite busy and it took me a long time to realise what all of the different health bars were and I still don't know what the green and red dots under the breath bar are.

I made it to the second big boss (the black ghost thing) but when I died there the restart wave button didn't work (I think there might have been another UI element blocking the button) so that's as far as I got. I wish I could have made it to the end to see what happened but I enjoyed the experience nonetheless.

I think the dramatic pace change when you take a deep breath is funny every time it happens and it's really well done. Overall an excellent game and I had a lot of fun playing, congrats!

thanks for playing! the red and green dots in the bottom are supposed to represent waves, with the big dot representing a boss fight, green just means that you have completed that wave, but yes i agree that the UI is a bit too busy and at times confusing..

the black ghost, the anger issue itself, is actually the last out of the 4 big bosses in the game, so you were right at the end.  when you die i think the damage number have a chance to overlap the restart wave button, which is a bummer, but should hopefully not be too common..

Never has beating up old grandma and Italians been more fun.
Also the transition to coffee mode is 4 / 2 espresso shots.

Best game so far! Easy to understand, simple, easy instructions! I had a great time playing! Maybe next time a volume control?

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing, there actually is two volume controllers but they are both carefully blended in to the surroundings. the first is at the side of the play game button in the intro, and the second is accessed by pressing escape and pausing the game. thankee

Best game I played so far. Maybe some support for touch pad users would have been nice but amazing game nevertheless
