How does your game fit the theme?
Well, you have to find and use oxygen, (which is also just your health) and also most of the purchases require oxygen.

I love the title art. The graphics are amazing. Ignoring the bugs, it is really polished! It is quite difficult, though.

This has potential, but I got many bugs: Many times I couldn't use sword, when standing in buying menu, enemies didn't do any damage.

I loved that the oxygen mechanic acted as both HP and Stamina! I would have rated 5 stars if I had identified some sort of artistic/symbolic meaning behind the use of "Take a deep breath"

I genuinely enjoyed the game! More than once you had me smiling and laughing. The reason I'm only rating 3 stars is because the difficulty felt too punishing to give me any hope that I could progress. It wouldn't have been quite so bad if the save mechanic didn't just apply if I hadn't died.

There were a few times I didn't know where to go. The paths weren't clear to me because the tiles were too faded. I lost a lot of oxygen trying to find my way. That, and I never figured out what the crystals were for. Were they supposed to be currency at the shop? Never seemed to have the option to buy anything from there.

it was a little strange to me that the items were hidden by changing the layer rather than the visibility. I could see them underneath the edges of the poison-air. That said, everything else was very satisfying!

The humor was lovely! I loved how much personality you gave to the game, and that's why I give it 4 stars. If there were more creativity demonstrated in the narrative or mechanics I might have given 5.


Altogether well done! I loved my experience with your game. I think if you polish it up with our feedback I'd like to give it another try :)

Black floor tiles with black walls made the game really difficult, and I died a lot from not knowing if an area was passable terrain or not. I also spawned into rooms that were nearly impossible to get through (huge gas room with tons of enemies) from the get go. Difficulty might be a bit too high I need to get good at video games. But the vibes are great, and it feels polished!

Really in love with the overall vibes of the game. It's difficult for sure, there's a curve to it - but I found myself enjoying things more than being frustrated. It's super polished for a game jam game as well! Great job!

Ah Yes! I was looking forward to this game. Saw some development footage in discord.

Such a good feel with animations and controls. Restart time is painfully slow. I had to die early few times cause didn't know how to balance my oxygen yet.

Wouldn't mind oxygen regen being a bit faster too.

Sometimes reading the map is hard, or I easily miss where does the path go. At first run I also thought that you need to go "Save and Exit" to progress :D

Quest for the working lava gun kept me motivated. Level4 was the highest I got. I always had either lava or lava gun available. Never got both D:

Overall this is well thought and polished game! Would definitely play it again in the future. Thank you for the experience

PROS:

- Animations are the stuff

- This includes text animations

- Sound good except annoying HP bar but I guess it gets your attention

CONS:

- Buying menu is just super bugged, it just is awful

- Due to oxygen purchase not working the game is unplayable during the first level.

Also using the sword consumes the HP, (not sure what the other meter is) and I die when it is empty, which happens often as I need to wack the red dudes.

Ah... for some reason the game just breaks in some browsers. And uhhh i see your are using the itch.io app. Could ya try out the game in a diiferent browser maybe?

I really enjoyed many of the animations. The game feels a bit unclear of what to do but It can easily be solved with a quick tutorial.
