How does your game fit the theme?
Its the last breath of hope for the Cathians to save their own species, the main character will need to venture into the deep oceans while coming up for air to breath from time to time. To save your brethen, the player will have to throw gas cannisters at the mutated cats to breathe in to be cured.

Great job on all kitty characters! Dr was my favourite :) . Not sure how I feel about drowning all the kittens though. Well I assume they don’t actually die here. I found it little tedious that I had to use mouse to progress the level-up screen, but the game was played fully on keyboard. At some point also noticed my character can’t really die. Other than that, good job on the entry!

It's an okay game with some issues.

First of all your UI tweens/animations don't scale well so I was not able to play on fullscreen (1440p). was able to play in browser without going fullscreen.

The game has a lot of dialogue. I think too much. Took me quite some time before I could play the game thanks to the dialogue, and my gameplay was often interrupted with dialogue. Wasn't able to get to play the game enough to understand what's going on during the first playthrough. Always getting interrupted by dialogue or level ups.

The game also doesn't have challenge. The oxygen thingy I forgot because I didn't have to think about it, all cats dying to one explosion also made it quite easy.

But good job on finishing it!

Okay, so I finally managed to play the game, maybe I was just unlucky but the first run I had with it was riddled with bugs, first the controls were not captured by the game so the screen was moving up and down while playing, F5 and go again, I change volume in game and the menu is still active after closing it so now the volume goes to max while the pj is unresponsive on the screen being attacked, F5 again, this time I go full screen to avoid it moving while I play and I can see all the overlays at the same time, stats on the left, lorem ipsum bubble on the bottom and the cursed volume menu on the right still messing with the audio.
So I come here to read the comments, vote and leave but the comments are commending the game so I'm lost. I go back to the game, F5 for the last time and suddenly everything works properly. . .
So yeah, the game's fun, quite easy, the pills can be spammed so there's no danger and I think that if you keep the dash pressed for a couple of seconds your pj keeps the speed after you lift the finger, great dialogue, nice art, would be cool to have some button to proc the scenes rather than clicking with the mouse, also sometimes the music bugs out if you turn a lot of cats at the same time and have consecutive audio + text queues and the last boss has stayed still 2/3 times I played.
Sorry for writing such a long comment and maybe being crass in some parts, I'm writing just after experiencing all that in a span on 5min

'37 Seconds Before Deadline' you mad lads! 😂

Since this game is one of the highest rated games, I am going to write this while playing & hopefully in detail.

As I jumped in the game, The music gave me very Hawai'ian vibes. As I started the game. It gave me a flashback of nostalgia from the era of facebook games (Pet society specifically)

I had issues with the controls cause I'm very used to WASD as movement as opposed to arrow keys and also there wasn't really a intro to controls. The 'X' on the capsules are also hard to see. It took me few seconds to figure out how to throw capsules. I pretty much skipped through the cutscenes. The upgrades also didn't feel like they impacted as the gameplay as I spammed through the capsules.

:D Omg, the 37 seconds

Fantastic!

good work ;)

Overall a fun game. I'd space out the dialogue more, as funny as it is. The game is too short to really appreciate the impact of the upgrades but I'd imagine that's just a function of it being a jam game.

It's a really cute game but I had some problems with the controls!

The cat aesthetic was really cute! I just had some problems with the controls and had to give it a few tries to figure it out. It's a bit troublesome that the UI is cut off in the browser version but that's only some small complaint :)

I really liked the aesthetic and it was cute. The UI was overlayed a lot of the screen and would jump in front a lot which made it more difficult to play though!

This game was enjoyable to play and featured an engaging storyline. I found the overall experience to be quite interesting. The narration was a little too much and I wanted more gameplay.

Maybe it's just me, but all the games menus are open at once when you start playing making it impossible to tell what's happening. Hopefully it is just me and it works fine for others!
