Liked the idea, but the levels (few as they were) were very similar to each other and not difficult at all. If anything I found the first level the most difficult. And I didn't need to use the shrinking or sprinting mechanic at all to win. Some levels to utilise these mechanics would've made the game more dense.
Thank you for your feedback! I really appreciate it!
P.S. I really enjoyed creating the game as this was my first game jam. As well you are one my favorite youtubers and game developers. I really want to see more jams hosted by you!
I liked the idea but using the T key to shrink just doesn't work comfortably with the mouse and WASD.
Baside that the game is really original and fits the theme
Thank you, I really appreciate it!
I like the use of the masking mechanic to hide the triangles, though probably make it bigger so its easier to scan the area, enough to know where I'm heading isnt a deathtrap at least lol
Also, I think I failed the last level, but my guy still went into the blackhole, might be a glitch or something. And maybe use a variety of shapes instead of triangles, like using bars to form a like maze.
By the end, it was an enjoyable little game.
Thank you, I really happy that you enjoyed!
It felt too easy i guess, you really didnt give yourself room to have good level design as there were only like 3 layers of triangles. The art was lacking, and I think it could have done for a bit more thought. For example, since it is a simplistic game, the triangles in square spaces felt awkward. At that point, they might as well be black squares that indicate a hole.
It is a functioning game that feels completed for what you were going for, so for that, great job :D
Thank you I really appreciate that you said. That will be very useful in the future (as this is my first game jam game).
This is an interesting idea. However, the usage of the theme felt a little weak. And, using the shrinking was awkward with the WASD movement. I think rebinding it to a mouse button would be a better idea. That one change would definitely make the game much easier to play.
With that aside, this game reminds me about the time I spent playing impossible cursor maze games. I liked the x-ray ability of the cursor, and I feel there is a lot you can do with that in conjunction with the shrinking.
This could use some work, I'm afraid. While it technically fits the theme, the character shrinking seems like more of an afterthought, the music and art weren't insulting, but not great either, and the game itself didn't have much variety or identity. If given more time, I'm sure you could add to this, and I implore you to do so!
Sorry but it looks like you're missing UnityPlayer.dll which you need to play it.
