This is way to hard to find any secrets+glitches.

I liked the concept and the visuals, but I feel the difficulty was a bit too hard, especially with the boss. I couldn't hit it without getting hit and dying. The music for the boss was also a bit jarring. I did appreciate the multiple endings as well. Overall, good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feed back! with the boss there is only one was you can kill him, by coming behind him he's very easy, with the music im on half audio all the time so i couldn't tell, really stupid. for the diffculty i just set a lot off chackpoints, but maybe really i should have added more hp.

Nice graphics here, and nice idea with changing the size of your sword, though I couldn't tell how much damage I was doing with it so some visual feedback on how much damage you do would be good. Also the music when you get to the boss is abrupt and very loud. I would recommend giving the player more than one life rather than dying from one touch. Good work!

Thanks for the feed back! indeed i should have added some feed back on how much damage you deal, but i just didnt have the time to think about that.  about the one life i just added a lot of chack points, but maybe i should have added more life.

Nice game! I like that you implemented different musics for different occasions. Just an observation: you can walk with A and D but can't change the sword  size with W and S.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feed back! i played your game too and it's really fun.

with the W S, i just used: Input.GetAxisRaw("Horizontal"). and in a platformer game no one uses W and A so i didnt thought at that.

but if you think i should have added that i will do it in other projects.

So I guessed right hahah it's like when you click Ctrl and the player shoots because Fire1 is also assign to Ctrl by default lol. During this jam was the first time that I used the new input system. I wouldn't say that it's better in every single subject, but you should definitely check it out.

I think I managed to jump off the world, just look at my mighty sword trail. Awesome ! The music got weird and loud at the boss slime (or whatever it was)

Developer

Oh i think i know what it was.. im using a tile map collider so there is some problem.. but if you had fun it's worth it!

This is so cool. One of my brainstorm concepts was to make a character whose weapon can change size. I got too complex with it though and knew my current abilities would be unsuccesful in producing a game like I had in mind.
(There was gonna be a mana bar and the enviornment would impact how quickly you recieved mana. IE: when the sun was up mana regen is faster, if near mana crystals mana would fill quickly.  Other crystals would drain mana as well as using the big size sword)

It feels weird but good that someone else had the same basic idea and implemented it and made it fun.

LOL. thanks for the feed back! btw i think to make a game for a game jam you dont need a lot of skill to make a fun game, for me i had a bug with c# unity in this game, i've given up but then i started making the game and still even with those bugs i got a working and kinda fun game.

lovely game, I enjoyed it lots and the audio was relaxing.  Also, nice use of the in-game tutorial style, i could follow easily.

One balancing issue i found is, that i often just over-jumped enemies and did not really use the big sword, maybe you could have forced the player more into switching swords more often/strategically... maybe having a set number that a sword can be changed.

but regardless, great idea and excellent work on the endings and game feel, good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feed back!

there is a stage in the kinda dungen that you need to run from something there you have to use your small sword.

but i will take that in mind

Really nice and fun game, in my opinion it is really original and fun to play, I love the audio that you made :) the only problem that I have that when you die it's a bit lagging but it might be my computer fouls

Thanks for the feed back!

i dont know what bag you're talking about.. can you tell what the bag was?

Submitted(+1)

it wasn't anything big, and it might be my internet but when I die i needed to wait for quiet a while to have the game restarted. Don't worry about it too much, it probably just was my internet ;)

Developer

Yeah i think it is.. it's hard coded to be 1 sec

Submitted(+1)

try this, I'm using  similar code to this but I'm using this for restart,  just put this when you die, it will restart the level.  And this is working straight away ;). And if you are using this, then it is my internet, but still your game is really good.
Developer

Thank you very much! i will surely use it.
