Fun maths game here. Would have liked some sound and some animation in the cards, and a tutorial would've been useful too.
It took me a bit of time to grok the rules but this is a really interesting game! I feel like there's a "bluffing" aspect where if you were playing against a real player you could tell if they are playing high or low. Regardless I really like the design!
The core idea is pretty good and interesting, there are a multitude of ways it could be better implemented. It was fun regardless, Thank you!
The idea is good. Maybe if you added a timer, the game would gain pace. Anyway, an interesting game!
A game with an interesting concepts, the gameplay is good and complicated enough for my brain. Some sounds would be nice and some juice and stuff would make the game a lot better. Overall a very neat game :)
Needs to be a bit more complicated I think. Now its like black jack with extra steps. Really neat idea though
Very interesting idea. after I figure out the rules it was really fun to play. :)
I think something needs to motivate the payer to act quicker, it becomes completely luck when you have a score counter to know if you are over 100. Maybe allow adding and subtracting, make the human do it in their head!
Thanks for the feedback! I like the idea of not just adding the numbers for them. If there was a timer to finish their turn then it could require them to do quick math!
Really cool idea to do a card game! I think the rules could be better explained but once I got the hang of it the game is really fun to play. I do think games should end a little earlier though - maybe put a cap on the number of rounds played instead of waiting for the deck to deplete.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree going through 100 cards takes quite a bit of time. I think that maybe there could be a certain score where a winner can be declared
This is such an interesting game! I wasn't expecting there to be any actual card games. One thing that would be cool to do would be to add multiplayer. The first player plays their cards without the second player looking, and then they switch. This way, nobody sees the other player's cards.
Thanks for the feedback! I would have liked to add multiplayer, I only thought about it for remote players but your suggestion could work for local multiplayer as well.
This is a really interesting concept. Easy to learn but very hard to master, a great trait to have. Nice work!
Thanks for saying that! I really wanted there to be some strategy involved. Like trying to create small sum with many cards or large sum with few cards in order to trick the opponent.
I really enjoyed the game. The rules were easy to learn and I had a great time!
Thank you! I'm glad you had a great time!
I really liked the concept, cards game are not usual for game jams ! Maybe a bit too easy to win versus the computer but I think it's not humanly possible to make an AI in 72 hours that can beat human :p Great job !
Thanks for the feedback. I agree, the computer is a bit limited. Looks like it will always try to play less cards than the human which makes it easy to win once you figure that out.
Good idea, but the rules were a bit hard to understand. They needed some proofreading. Also, graying something out is usually used to convey "this item is not active". So, I'd recommend reversing the colors of the check mark. However, this game makes me nostalgic for those old Adobe Flash card games. Add some art, sound, and animation along with a win/lose state, and you'd have a pretty solid way to kill some time. Additionally, I like the alternative strategy of trying to score low. And, adding the chance for a win through matching a sum was a good idea.
Thanks for playing and leaving feedback! Good point about the checkbox, it could easily be missed for sure. I'm happy you were able to figure out but how to play but I agree that the rules could definitely be revised.
i love card games and i like this game idea, the rules could have been explained a bit shorter, for me it seemed like a super complex strategy game, but in the end it is much simpler, well done though!
Thanks for playing! Your feedback is super helpful because I thought the rules maybe too verbose.
