Was fun but very difficult some issues like enemies  can hit through buildings

Developer

Thanks ! hope you've enjoyed it despite the flaws.

Yeah there are some issues with the larger mechas that i wasn't able to polish enough,

however if you were shot through the destructible buildings i made this as a tradeoff so that you couldn't use these specific ones as cover to have a bit more difficulty.

Cool faux 3d art, it all looks as if it belongs together! Some indication of where the objectives are would be boss, like signposts in the level, an objective arrow or a minimap. A solid submission and way ahead of time also.

Developer

Thanks :) did my best to have everything fit together as cohesively as possible.

Yeah not having a minimap or any indication for objectives other than numbering them was a big mistake on my part, but i knew i couldn't have all the time i'd need to finish the last day so i had to cut some corners and publish early to be sure not to miss the deadline, cause you never know the type of late emergency fixes you're gonna have to make sometimes :p

But anyway, thanks again for playing  and sharing your thoughts !

Gorgeous art, I love the selection of characters! Cool that the enemies can shoot over the objective buildings, sort of acts like barricades. My favourite weapon was the Vulkan :)

Though I'd love a radar as I did get a bit lost on the bigger level

Really great work!

Thanks ^^ glad that you liked the pilots selection and the art in general !

I tried to have as much variety as i could both design wise, and also gameplay wise to have people chose how challenging or not they want the game to be (even if i admit i still didn't really balance properly some things)

Haha yeah i think a lot of people arez gonna like the vulkan XD although it ended up way more OP then i intended :p

Agreed i should have made a radar/minimap if i found the time to help the levels be a bit less confusing.

Thanks for taking the time to test out my entry :)

You made the music too. I enjoyed it it. Exactly what I wanted to see in this jam. Were I to give any negative feedback, it's just that a few little things don't fit the pixel style. Otherwise, music was fun, the game play took me back. Solid effort.

Thanks for your feedback  :)

Yep ! Only the font, and of course the jam's logo that's integrated to some screens are external assets.

The rest is all stuff done for the jam, and the explosions are the only self made asset that i re used from a past project,

did my best to have everything be as cohesive as possible, but there's always room for improvement that's for sure :p

Haha and glad that the game play took you back ^^
