nice game.... particularly impressed by some of the sprite work... The ice boss is great, and the character sprites are really good too!
The controls and combat mechanics could use some improvement but the art and general look of the game are great. Feels very polished on that front.

Playing with two different characters was definitely a nice addition to this game. This is a fun game and I liked exploring the map and unlocking abilities.
The environment seems a little too "big" for the characters, that felt a little weird but nothing too problematic. The bullets from some enemies were hard to see. Maybe the characters could be larger or the environment could be smaller. The map was a little confusing. I think more visual feedback would really do good on this game (like enemies flashing when hit or something like that).
But other than that, I like the enemies and characters, they're full of personality. The boss was interesting but a bit on the easy side! The music matched the game well, and the style is interesting. Good job!
Does this game end after the Iceboss fight? After I killed it, the game paused a moment and then went straight back to the main menu. Was wondering if I encountered a bug or if this was the extent of your game.
I like your character artwork and the music didn't stick out or conflict with it. I especially liked how the Ice boss looked. However, I wasn't clear on whether I was supposed to use specific characters for anything because getting to the ice boss is a short trek. Another issue I had was that I couldn't tell how much damage I was doing in the fight. Players want that type of feedback to know if their strategy is working or if they have to change tactics. I ended up beating the boss by landing on a spot that didn't trigger him, so I shot him until he disappeared.
Yep, the game ends after the boss. Had no time to make a proper screen for it.
I knew of that bug, but thought it had been patched... oh well.

i like the game. it was fun to play and the level design is great as well. superb artwork with the characters btw. however, in my opinion, the art of the background and the platform was a little bit frustrating at first. they are pretty similar to each other and when the player starts moving it gets kinda hard to differentiate. the same goes with the spikes as well.
otherwise, the game felt pretty polished and balanced. i loved playing with both the characters i must say.
