Interesting pixel art, I didn't play long . The movement control is just harder on keyboard and mouse for certain styles. Having game-pad for complex movement dashing would have made this more interesting in my opinion. Good music atmosphere though. May come back and check it out deeper later. 3.5/5

Not bad, pretty cool climbing mechanics. A bit frustrating at times with the one-hit death against terrain, but mostly a fun kind of challenging. The art could use work, but the music was quite nice to listen to and had a good energetic feel for the boss fight (only played until after the first boss). Controller pad support is always a good addition to games with very tricky movements like this, and it could be a little more obvious in some sections whether an area is unreachable, or if the player is just not good enough with the current skills.  All in all a pretty cool entry, thank you for sharing!

Wow this game is so good! Definitely sense the celeste inspiration. I love all of the upgrades, they make each room have so many new challenges. Boss fights are great. The world is kind of bad-looking with so many random pixels, but hey, who polishes a game jam game anyways? Great job on this guys.

first what i didn't like. Some parts were frustrating, specially cuz i kept falling in that big section with the 2 npcs and the unskipable dialogs kept triggering just because i was holding the z or the up keys. The last part required some really precision gameplay but the controls didn't felt that precise so i died a lot before finally clearing  it, and  i never got used to the rope mechanic.

apart from that it was a great experience, i have not seen a game with the story so fleshed out like this one. The music was pretty good. The  art, despite the sprite sizes being all over the place, it didn't bother me that much and was good enough for gameplay purposes. And the level design, excluding what i mentioned earlier,  was great in general.

You did a great job with this game, i also made my game in c++ but i didn't do a web version cuz i didn't know how and didn't have the time to learn how to, but you inspired me to make one next time.

I cannot make these kind of movements with the keyboard. I am sorry. Will have to wait with the rating until someone uploads a playthrough video.

If you added gamepad support in a post-jam version, I would definitely try again.

I think you were going for a Celeste-like platforming. I get that. And I think you are doing a good job at it. It's just I cannot possibly do that with a keyboard.

I like the background music very much. It gives the game an eerie vibe.

There is something about this game...

It's seems very rough around the edges... but it's not?

The graphics look like low effort jam games, but... it feels intentional?

The story is disjointed, but makes sense?

I don't know where to put this game.

I love it. Definitely a top entry for me!

P.S. the Celeste inspired platforming sections are SPOT ON!
