overall a well made entry, the sound was a bit loud at the beginning but everything else was fine!

the moment I got in game i was like WOW I agree with some other comments but overall this game is CLEAN and the music goes hard! great work.

This game is pretty good, and nails what a metroidvania is about. The pixel art is crisp and well implemented. I like the background and subtle parallax. I appreciate that it runs in browser. Unfortunately, it was just a bit too hard for me, so I wasn’t able to make it very far.

I think the controls could be improved. For example, you could make it so that the space bar closes the tutorial windows, instead of forcing the user to reach for the mouse with 2 hands on the keyboard.

Overall, I am most impressed by the pixel art.

The art-style and sensory were amazing!

Very metroidvania. Very nice art. My biggest issue with the game was attacking, in my brain if I attack by clicking then I also want to aim by clicking. Using keyboard only was more awkward as others have mentioned, (F, Q, and E are definitely not the best keys for actions when using arrow keys). Was still enjoyable despite this, though.

Beautiful artwork, the music was fun. I would like to see more of the game. Good job.

Very nice! I loved the art style and overall execution! What I really thought was nice was implementation of mini-map feature. Very nice and easy to read at a glance. These type of games aren't meant to be staring at the mini-map to try to decipher where you are at. Very nice and usable, and full game system.

I have some questions about the combat mechanics. If the player's weapon has such a short range, why not give the player the ability to parry enemy attacks? Also, I think it would be better if the player moved faster. The jump in mid-air feels like flying.

I liked the visuals, the concept, and the gameplay overall. The music is good, but something happened with the sound quality—occasionally it duplicates, crackles, or distorts. And as another user mentioned: the keyboard controls suck.
