Having to deliver packages while avoiding asteroids, space pirates and bombs sounds pretty chaotic to me!

Cool game. I like how the simplicity of the obstacles doesn't diminish the graphical beauty on it.

The eased movement is also great. Nice sound effects.

Developer

Thanks!

Not sure I would be cut out to work as a package courier...at least in this part of space! Definitely chaotic. Oddly enough, I thought a really long train of containers would be unwieldy, but I managed to steer through some tight places. Could use music, as others have mentioned, but otherwise nice work!

Thank you for playing!

nice! great game, lots of fun. but maybe add some music

Developer

Music will definitely be added if I make a postjam version! I just didn't have enough time to make it within the time limit

For next time, you can use music from these sources for free in noncommercial projects!

Good work on taking a simple concept and refining it to this great game!

Developer

Thank you!

Loving the retro graphics and SFX. The gameplay is great and a cool concept. Certainly challenging, especially once the hostile ships arrive and the obstacles become denser. The only thing that it appears to lack is some music or ambience audio.

Developer(+1)

Haha, yeah, music is something I definitely would've added if I had more time/experience making music. Thank you so much for playing my game!

Idea and implementation is excellent, really captures risky and well designed gameplay with it's package system. I ended up playing this one for a lot longer than expected, for good reasons.  Also those darn ships!

Developer

Thank you so much for your kind words!

Fun game! I love that it's not JUST a shoot'em up but that you have to take care of your packages and stuff. The loading mechanic is great. The art style and the background make it kinda hard to read the environment though

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! Yes, I can see how some enemies blend in with the background (especially grey asteroids). That is something I will change if I ever make a post-jam version!

Very fun !

Thank you!

What can I say… I like the idea a lot and I prefer your implementation haha! Here’s why: https://pello.itch.io/truck-track

Developer

Wow, what a coincidence! I like your implementation as well, giving each package its own sprite/description is a neat detail!

In my case the camera zoomed out as you get picked more containers. But the randomness was to hard for the player. Yours is more gentle and the way the trailing containers move is really satisfying. I did that for a jam which limitation was “too long”, haha.

Good game, and made on PICO-8
