Love the graphics, very fun. Controls for the puzzles are good too, the tutorial is spot on.
Very enjoyable! Very similar concept to what I ended up making (though definitely more complete lol). I love the art, though I wish it was easier to see the difference between platforms that could and couldn’t be controlled
The art is really cool and I like the mood of the game. I could agree with the others about the jump but overall is a very solid entry.
Music, sound, and visuals are awesome!
Jumping doesn't seem to be super responsive.
Love the ambient music! I think the acid rain was confusing though (the T effect) and could use a little more feedback on what changes. Or maybe the rain in the background makes it hard to notice when the acid rain stops.
I'm not sure if this is a bug, but the crate sometimes stays on air when I pull it, and sometimes it drops down. :) But it helped me win the last stage, so all's good!
You have the most unique art style i saw in this jam, it’s great! And the music choice too, very distinct. The moving platforms need a more obvious indicator, in the 2 level it took a while until i noticed it. The others already commented everything else i was about to say
Nice, it got much better! More feedback:
I can’t say i understand the level 6 and 7, i did beat them, but with a feeling i did something unintended.
Also, the jump and max fall height can be roughly the same height? I survived a fall, but couldn’t reach the platform again because it was too high… well, design wise, i don’t know if this is really a good idea. But what saved me there, was the fact that i could activate the moving platform by being very close to it (by jumping), instead of standing on top.
And finally, the boxes. They are still very clumsy, i took a while to understand that i need to look towards them to pull them, because the robot sprite don’t have much visual feedback of which way he is facing. Still, i feel great improvements in this aspect.
Really enjoyed the art and the music. I noticed the same issue with jumping as the others have previously said and I couldn't pass by the second stage. Pressed T and saw the roof slide into place but wasn't too sure what else changed or if I missed something.
I really like the art, looks amazing, but I got some game breaking bugs, like jumping for me was almost always impossible, I even though there's no jumping at all, but spamming a space bar eventually resulted in a jump.
A little confusing at first, but after you get the hang of it it becomes a little easier.
Really cute art style and very good game overall
But i think the major problem is that the background is raining but also the raint that when the celling is not closed makes a big confusion
Also found some bugs with the box, but was fun to play with those
Very noce job ♥ I really like it
Maybe it's just me, but I had a really hard time with some of the controls. The jump button seemed to work very intermittently, and I would have to spam the spacebar a bunch before Roboto would jump. I was also never able to get the 'T' button to work. These occurred on both the WebGL and downloadable versions. Weird!
Other than those, I thought what you made is really slick. It's clear the artwork and overall presentation and atmosphere had a lot of care put into it, and I thought the mechanics that were there fit well with the limitation. I'll come back later and give it another go!
Thanks for your feedback!
Regarding the jump button, does the jump button work intermittently on every area? on the ground and the platform?
For the "T" button, it is used to block the rain, you can press it while standing in front of the red wheel handle.
The downloadable version has bugs but we have to keep it, we uploaded the fixed webgl version. ( webgl is the correct version to play)
Thanks for your words, we will improve the game soon but maybe not during the jam rating period.
Pretty nice artstyle!
But the physics and mechanics need a bit of polish, and certain things need more feedback (for example, in level 2, I couldn't unserstand what does pressing T do until the acid killed me, and the moving plataforms need to stand out more, like changing the colour, so it's easier to difference them from the normal ones).
I'm stuck in level 3 :), finally, I passed all levels.
Excellent artwork, music, and level design!
The art Is amazing, but I feel the game needs to give a little bit more feedback to the player
Makes me so happy that you like the art :-) Regarding the missing feedback - not all sound fx made it into the game - there was too little time at the end - 3 days are quite tough. Having all actions connected to an audio response might fill the gap - well, there is always a next time ;-) Hope you enjoyed our game nonetheless. And now I am looking forward giving your game a try. Hand-drawn gameart - yummy, yummy!
I like your artwork, after the "tutorial" sections, i couldnt get over the first platform, it was just a bit too high and the jump wasnt so responsive. But other then that, good work.
