it's so fun to keep playing with the powers !! The concept is really original, I think it will be better if the art was more développé ;D Good Job

Developer(+1)

I'm not that good artist, I just did my best with the pixelart.

Thank you so much for the feedback ♥

Submitted(+1)

still good

Submitted(+1)

Wow Game is So Fun And The Concept is unique Great Job!

Developer

Thank you really much!

Submitted(+1)

That was honestly a very enjoyable game, good work! The sprites were nicely done and the game mechanics are fun too (I don't know if that was intended but I never used the water element).
The movement of the player feels really smooth and natural and running away as the fire spreads was one of my favorite parts :3

Oh only thing, I've gotten an error when an enemy touched me sometimes:

"Unable to find any instance for object index '8' name 'oPlayer'

at gml_Script_EnemyState_Chasing"

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

It's Intended!

Plan the game to be completed in many different ways

And I love that you tell me that because according to me the last level was intended to be completed (normally) using the four elements. If you tell me that you did not use the element of water, it means that you have been creative and were able to save it, congratulations!

Uuuuh Really?  I didn't have much time to playtest and the respawn was the last thing I added so maybe there's the error... Thank you so much, i'll fix it as soon the jam votes ends

Submitted(+1)

Oh I thought that was intended, I rushed my way through the fire, trying to avoid all the skeletons on the way xd

You're welcome too! I'm sure you can make a lovely game out of this, the base is already good!

Developer

Fix uploaded, thanks for making me aware of this bug

Submitted(+1)

You're welcome!

Loved the character movement, so soft a fresh

Developer

Thank you so much! Really means a lot for me

Sorry, I got an error when started on my PC(windows7 64bit)

Developer(+1)

I haven't see that comming to be honest

Wow... It might be the fact that you're using Windows 7 but I can't tell exactly why... I'm so sorry

But don't worry, i'll make it playable in the browser soon

Submitted(+1)

Good use of the elemental setup. The only complaint I have is not using two elements at the beginning (makes you learn to swap elements out of the gate), but the instructions were clear. Can't wait to see more.

Developer

In the first level? Uh that's something I didn't though about but you're right! Thank you so much for the feedback, i'll totally update the game soon

Submitted(+1)

I enjoyed this! It was a cute take on the limitation and although the it was a bit confusing to start without a tutorial, once I figured out the controls the game itself was pretty intuitive. I would play more of this if more were made :)

Developer

Thank you so much! More levels and mechanics are planned after this Jam, I want to complete this game, just a little bit

A tutorial was planned but can't reach the deadline :c

Submitted(+1)

Good game, it has some really nice animations! If I were to suggest something, it would be a menu to select different elements, using the mousewheel is kinda janky sometimes. Still a great game! I liked the idea of using different elements to solve puzzles in a platformer.

Developer

It's a good idea to make a circle selection of the elements. Thank you really much for the feedback ♥

Submitted(+1)

Nice game! Each level was interesting. I would like to see how you would update or remake this in the future! It is one of the best concepts in the games I played today!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much ♥ I'm going to still working on this game

It really means so much for me

Submitted(+1)

Good luck with your next update!!

Submitted(+1)

The animations were really nice. I think a menu or something to explain the controls would've helped but I eventually found out that the scroll wheel went through the elements.

Developer

It's on the Itch.io page but no in the Jam page :c I didn't know about that
Thank you, I made everything myself: sounds, spirtes, code (except for the bacground music) it was really hard, to be honest

Submitted(+1)

I really did enjoy playing this game as every level it offers something new, the idea itself is really great, outstanding work, keep it up !

i look forward to  see a full game with more levels after the jam !!

Developer

I will continue developing this game, at least a little bit more
Thank you so much ♥

I really loved that you had not only one choise but multiple choises to solve the puzzle!

maybe colectables to insantivate the player to go out of their way to find new ways to solve the puzzle would be awesome!

Developer

Yes, some that was the idea, multiple solutions for a level. And the collectables were planned, the 2nd level have a space where I was going to put there a collectable

I really enjoyed that! I loved the fire leaves chase level the concept was really cool I honestly could have played 10 more levels

Developer(+1)

I planned a lot more levels :c They're on the paper... and even more things to interact with.

I'm really glad that you enjoyed ♥

Submitted(+1)

Do you plan to add the levels still?

Developer

I will, when the votes of the jam finish

I also have planned some animations when the level starts and ends

Submitted(+1)

I'm looking forward to playing it again Then!

Submitted(+1)

This was very good! I am impressed of how fun and challenging this game was!

Quick Tips:

Teach the player how to use and what to use the elements on!

Developer

Thank you! ♥ Yes, a tutorial was planned but time was an impediment

Submitted(+1)

I understand! Same with the levels. Just wanted to make a story out of the game, and I did that but then didn't have time to make more levels.

Good game though!

Submitted(+1)

Nice concept, I enjoyed playing the game through the end, the level design was cool.

Developer(+1)

Thank you SO much ♥ Means a lot for me

Submitted(+1)

This idea is very cool! The most important thing that was missing, I'd say, is some set of instructions or an indicator to tell me that there were more elements I could use. Also, the "r" to restart is important to commuicate.

Well done!

Developer(+1)

The "r to reset" is on the itch page, but didn't know that wasn't on the Jam Page...
And it was planed an easy tutorial but due the time limit wasn't posible. There was a lot of ideas to be implemented

I really appreciate your feedback ♥ Makes me still working on the game

Submitted(+1)

Nice, too bad there is no background

Developer(+1)

It's a shame :c I was planning make some clouds at least but the time was very rough

Submitted(+1)

I can't understand, great try anyway <3
