Pretty engaging story here! For the length of the jam, the amount of dialog options seemed appropriate, but definitely seemed really linear. It would be sweet to see an iteration in the future with more open-ended options for the player. Artwork, music, and sounds were all really great though. Nice work!

I loved it! The art and mechanics seem very polished. Others have commented on having alternate endings, and I would like that too, but the linear narrative in this game is still great for the time given to make it.
The flashlight wasn't too bad on my monitor, but I can see why others may think it's too dark. Great game with that aside!
The art is great, the ominous music and the “voiced SFX” are very well executed.
But i was not a fan of the flashlight… I understand the theme is darkness, but i wish i could see a little better.
I loved the dialogue and the art! Also, to me, the ability to inspect non-essential items in games like this is crucial and I'm glad you've included that too. It would've been even better if the dialogue options had different effects, but branching story paths are a huge pain to write and implement, especially for a 3-day jam.
I mostly expected the ending, but I was low-key hoping I would be able to prevent it by choosing the right options. Then again, the dialogue hinted at me that Peter's action was maybe not justified but at least understandable.
Thanks so much for checking it out! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I struggled with the question of whether or not to allow Peter to escape his terrible fate. In the end, the time pressure made the decision for me... the last few hours were a mad scramble, complete with build failures, unwelcome surprises with the canvas resolution, etc.
Brilliantly stylized and realized, with gripping dialogue and story. Love the animated sprites. The quips and dialogue are spot on for early point and click nostalgia and for the setting! That door sound is perfect and hilarious. I love it!
Story is very engaging, and the theme and limitation fits really well with the game's setting.
Replayed it twice to check if I can find other endings but unfortunately, the outcomes on my both playthroughs are the same.
Overall it is a very well-designed game! Kudos to you!
Awesome game! I am a fan of point and click adventures , the art and music gives the creepy suspenseful experience, plus the use of the light . The controls are responsive and the gameplay and story is engaging. Overall I enjoyed playing! congratulations! keep it up!
