Good, struggled to get into at the first day but by the second it was great. still waiting on a major jam many people want it, why the fuck are you holding back! coward.

Woahh!! The concept was amazing some instructions could have helped but thats understandable as this is a game jam.
The visual setting of the game world and the player progression is great. Loved the cute little assets you created.

Awesome and inspiring game, I feel like the balance is properly set. Enjoyed all the levels, even though the last one was pretty hard. Shows that you poured a lot of love into it :)
thank you, rts is my favourite genre. wanted to make one for a while but they can get really complex so i thought i do it in a minijam so im force to strip it down and focus on the core aspects of an rts. I appreciate you kind words!
Hey man, this is a very good game, good mechanics and good ideas, i really love the simple art and the music and sound effects, they are simple but good
There is some bugs that if you continue with the project you should solve
This are some ideas:
-Upgrade the minions movement code
-Make the shop bigger or if you click an buton it appears
yeah il probs add my own path finding, i just dropped aStar in there as i didnt wana waste time on the pathfinding rabbit hole, great suggestions thanks alot!!

they do, if you mean archers vs shield guys thats because they got a shield to stop getting hit lol.

i think the unresponsiveness is due to commander the leader and the troops getting directions and commands from the leader not player
I think that concept might work if it’s made more clear, and I was suspicious that this was the case after a while, so I get it. The disconnect might be from the player having to purchase the entire “squad” of soldiers, but only getting to command one, which passes the commands to his squadmates. Instead, the player might purchase a commander that has a slightly, but noticeably, different model than the rest of his squad (to distinguish visually), and that commander will recruit a unit every now and then based on how many units would come with the squad before this update. Hope that makes sense!
Of course, the easier route is probably to just make the soldiers all respond to you, but that’s not unique.
Another factor to the unresponsiveness, I believe, was due to the player’s inability to reliably interrupt the units’ attack animations. Maybe there’s a way to make that feel more smooth? Not sure.

Pretty funny, it remembered me of a lot of flash game I used to play when I was a kid so thanks for the nostalgia ! I really like the mini soldiers, map is maybe a bit big , you have to do a lot of back and forth, feedbacks when you select a unit would be great too (like a circle under their feets like in many RTS) because sometime I don't really know if I selected a unit or something. Otherwhise good entry with a nice selection of units (Personnaly I spamed Villagers)

100% im working on a little tutorial rn.
Loved the mini-style soldiers. I like the game idea but the camera movement is kinda slow though. Either tweak that or just make the map smaller so players don't have to move back and forth to check what the enemy is spawning. Other than that, I think you have a pretty solid game!.
