Use of the limitation
Within this game, even though there seems to be a goal at the start, due to it being a deal with the devil, the goal ever increases just out of the player's reach, meaning the player can never finish and is doomed to die/fail the contract. Furthermore, the player can also not survive forever since they have limited upgrades while the enemies get ever stronger and increase in number.

Really neat game, I am impressed with how much content you were able to get into the game in such a short time frame. Sacrificing health for upgrades is interesting because the game gets exponentially harder as it goes on, which I like in this instance!

My big critique is juice, I would have loved some screen shake, lots of particle effects, and crunchy sounds when enemies get hit and die.

Very good overall though, really nice work!

Thank you for trying the game. I really do agree that I should have added particle effects and more sounds for enemies, but to be honest, I ran out of time since it wasn't too high on my priority list. There is some screen shake, but on second thought,  an option to amplify/decrease it would be beneficial. Anyways, thank you for trying my game and best of luck to your submission! -Henry_Hamster

Good idea and implementation overall, the enemies started spamming me so early hhhhh.

I think giving the option for manual shooting would be awesome, to give more control to the player.

very good submission regardless, best of luck.
